Waffle House — Restaurant in Jacksonville

My husband and I visited the WH on Baymeadows today. He orders a hamburger with hashbrowns & I got the cheesesteak hashbrown bowl. His hamburger pattie looked tiny but otherwise was fine, his hashbrowns were not scattered as requested and it had 4 tiny pieces of tomato in it... not worth the 50 cents it costs. My bowl was less than halfway full (at other Waffle Houses it's at least 1/2 if not 3/4 full) and it was not mixed at all. But it tasted good so no real complaints, nothing worth bring attention to the staff. So after we eat I ordered a waffle with half chocolate chips. One guy put it in & thought the other guy was going to take it out, but he didn't, so it burned. He made another & it was tiny! The edges were not round, he did not use enough batter. But it tasted good... so..? Then my husband decides he wants one. They bring a full size waffle that looks uncooked. He said he'd try it... it was NOT cooked in the middle... so they make him another. It came out cooked, but again, not enough batter... it was tiny! So overall the food tasted fine but the portion size was lacking and though the face to face customer service was fine, the three employees were loud & not acting like they were at work while we were eating (we were the only customers at the moment) even after one said "guys there are customers in here, chill", they continued. I don't think we will be returning to this specific Waffle House... 2 stars, only because the food...

Absolutely the most disrespectful staff I've ever dealt with. We sat 6 at 1 corner table, out of the way, instead of taking up 2 in attempt to not take up a whole table so the server wouldn't lose money. She gave us a huge attitude the whole time. I asked for a kid's waffle which I get it, I'm not a kid but there's no reason to give me such an attitude about it and say No so abruptly. I genuinely thought it was a smaller sized waffle I didn't realize it was a kid discount so I was just genuinely trying to order less food. I asked her to pass over me because I didn't know what else I would want. She took everyone's order then just stood there huffing at me after I has clearly passed in my menu and said nevermind. She rolled her eyes and proceeded to be disrespectful to me and only me the whole time like I made some huge disrespectful action. "Boss Lady" as her name tag says is the exact reason I will never come back to this waffle house. It was Christmas Day yesterday that I went to eat at around 2:30pm. We didn't have too long of a wait about 15 minutes the waitress who seated us was very friendly however we sat for about 12 to 14 minutes before we were even acknowledged by ANYONE. We didn't get our drinks until about 20 minutes later by another waitress who wasnt ours. finally Our waitress Lori comes and takes our order. We get our food about 20 minutes later the bacon was VERY undercooked and one of our waffles she tried to hand us was DARK BROWN and burnt to a crisp. Hashbrowns were also undercooked. The food I feel was super rushed and not nearly as good as it has been in the past. Then when it was time to go our waitress was nowhere around AGAIN. So once again another waitress made us some to go drinks and got our to go boxes. So my overall experience was not the greatest. I will cut them some slack because it was Christmas Day but by the time we were seated there was NO ONE else who came in to eat. So I feel they didn't need to...
