I saw the reviews on this place were amazing and welcoming and "lavish" and I thought I’d come here and treat myself with this experience & get my hair fixed but I felt the complete opposite with the stylist I ended up with. To begin, I was greeted by a welcoming stylist, and was asked if I needed a drink, which was a great start. When it came to the hair experience my stylist she didn’t seem hopeful or positive with me or my hair so it was already un-encouraging and then barely interacted with me unless she had to, but talked with everyone else. For the most part I was asking for advice on my hair and she didn't know what to do so every time would ask Paris for what to do and it was kind of weird cause then I would have preferred someone who was sure of what to do. Even when it was time to do anything with me she'd quietly consult first with Paris. I kept being told that since my hair was box dyed what I wanted was not possible when I’ve seen hundreds of examples after the fact of it being done. I wish I could had more reliable advice here. When applying the stuff, she was kind of speedy with it and had dark dye around my face and told me I could just use something at home for that. She ended up throwing away my iced coffee I had just bought before coming in without asking first which was so disappointing because of my experience with her already. When she talked with me it was kind of in an abrupt tone and it just felt intimidating the whole time. Just felt like she could care less if I was even there. Towards the end I got to talk with everyone else at the salon which was a nice ending but I wish I had a nicer and more experienced stylist. The other stylists were Extremely nice and I wish I had them instead. This service and my results were not worth $300+ I would've loved my experience had I had a better stylist and service especially if I'm paying hundreds of dollars for...

I went to MonCiel because I had gotten my hair done by Nikki while she was at Paul Mitchell. After she graduated she started working at MonCiel so when i decided to go from my blonde highlights to full red i of course reached back out to nikki and she set up a consultation with Alyssa so we could create a game plan to get me to my desired color. Alyssa and Paris were both so kind and immediately made me feel like we’ve known each other forever and were all about getting me my dream hair. Alyssa did amazing work after I told her i wanted to go red but didn’t want to have my hair feel fried or dead. We decided to bleach everything to get an even color all around and she made sure she kept my hair feeling and looking amazing. My experiences from top to bottom have been flawless here. I’ve been to Paris a couple times for my hair and makeup and she has taken the absolute best care of me. Every trip to Lavish seriously makes my day and I wish I could go more often, but then I would have no hair left to trim. Paris makes you feel so comfortable and it’s an added bonus that my crazy curly hair doesn’t intimidate her one bit. Forever grateful for her hair care tips which have made a huge difference in how I style and manage my curls.
