Absolutely amazing authentic NY style pizza! Hands down the best in the area! Very welcoming staff and owner. Clean inside with a lot of tables and cute art. Service was fast and friendly. The Birria pizza with dipping sauce was the best I've ever had! Take this statement to the bank because I used to live in Queens, I used to live in Houston, I travel A LOT eating all over the country, and I eat A LOT of pizza! The cheese and pepperoni is dead on perfect I swear if I close my eyes eating it I could swear I'm eating hot fresh pizza on the A train. I can't recommend them enough, do yourself a favor and try them! We're planning on going back tomorrow! Random facts: Right by the viaduct. Close to downtown and Brooklyn Square. Metered street parking only. They have comfy clean dine in or take out. Cash or card accepted. No AC. Reasonably priced. Great sized slices/portions. The cinnamon Zeppoli isn't really sweet and isn't served with icing or anything so if you have a sweet tooth chose the fried oreos instead.

We had a great experience today even though it was their first day and they were clearly busy. We ordered the 2 slice and 1 drink combo + an extra drink and 10 of the garlic parm wings. For a pizza spot, I knew the pizza was going to be great (and it did not disappoint!!) but the wings stood out as some of the freshest and best we’ve had in a while. Well done Nick & team! We wish you only the best! Keep it up! Happy to have late night pizza here in Jamestown - that’s delish!

I've been waiting a long time for a pizza like this in Jamestown. The crust is amazing. I don't know what blend they use for the cheese, but it did not disappoint either. It came out a bit on the crispy side, but that's how I like it anyway. 100% recommend this to anyone that loves a good NY style pizza. Wings are next on the list. We were greeted so very nicely and everyone we talked to super cool.

This was my first visit to A Slice of Home. I would rate 5 stars but my pizza stuck to the oven and had to be re made. The owner obviously fixed the issue and complimented me a free pizza. But unfortunately my next pizza also stuck to the oven and 3 of the 6 slices were missing the bottom. I did love the pizza and I didn't let this ruin my experience. I just wish I would have been able to try it for my first time without the pie being torn on the bottom. That being said hopefully my next visit won't have the same issue because I look forward to enjoying A Slice of Home. My next visit I will fix my rating if my pizza doesn't stick...

I have tried a lot of pizza through the years and I’ve never had pizza taste this good! The NYC pizza in my opinion, is the best pizza in the area. I recommend the Garlic Knots as well. The food was a little pricey for 2 people, but I say it’s worth it. If you don’t want to spend as much, I’d say get the combo deals, they are just as good. The only downside is when it was time to get the order, there was one pizza they forgot to make because they are super busy right now. But the issue was resolved, and we got a free pizza card for next time, which I loved. Overall, I’d go back again, awesome to have a different style pizza...
