James Prendergast Library Association — Attraction in Jamestown

I parked my RV in a spot that I thought would be out of the way of others as I went in to use the wireless access. Though I was embarrassed at my misjudgement, the librarian asked me so graciously to move before it got busier. I really appreciated that she was so kind while still making me aware that I would soon be causing a problem for others. Great staff, great selection. It should be noted there is a security guard that works there that just seems to have a heart of gold. She is very nice and polite, literally greats everyone. I have also seen her helping people out there on so many occasions I couldn't even list them all. From providing food to homeless, to talking with someone in a crisis. Libraries don't get enough credit. I am poor. I enjoy going there if I can't steal my neighbors wi-fi. I sometimes will sit there for hours and it is always nice and pleasant there. They bring me hot cocoa sometimes which makes me smile. They have a great little bathroom but it is super busy so if you are going to do any butt chugging you have to make it quick.
