Went through the drive thru on July 27, 2019. Ordered food and proceeded to the window. Was met by a nice young lady who was smiling. I handed her a gift card that I had, and she said they couldn't take them...I asked her why. She said she didn't know really and I asked to speak to a manager who could tell me why. A young man came to the window and said "Yeah"...with his hat on backwards. I am a manager he says. I asked him to explain to me why my gift card could not be used. He said that there was something about too much loaded in their system and it had to be cleared before gift cards could be redeemed. I asked when that would be. He said I dont know and shrugged. I said can I have the corporate number or the store managers number so I could speak to someone who could tell me when their system would be cleared. He said he was a manager again, for the second time. Ok. He said he doesnt allow for his number to be given out (store manager/or owner) . So he asked someone in the back about a number and hands me a Dairy Queen sack and said the corporate number is on there and proceeded to SLAM THE WINDOW VERY HARD. Ok, now I am irritated. I laid on my horn for a good 5 seconds. The young lady who greeted me said yes ma'am and I said I haven't gotten my food I was going to pay with my card. She quickly got my food and apologized for the young man's actions. I told her she didn't need to apologize for him, he done this all himself. I also told her that there was no number on the bag like he said was. I also stated that they need to address this young man for his rudeness. His slouchy appearance. And for his overall attitude. I will not be back to this Dairy Queen. I will use my gift card...
Read moreI like the variety of things to order cold /hot they have you covered. However! Two different times I have caught the person taking orders trying to divert me from ordering. First time I ask about the ice cream cakes it was my father's birthday and I was told they did have any. I simply replied ok, I went and parked and walked right past the freezer full of the cakes. [I could only imagine my mom had been the one to have been asking -she can't get around that good, she would have never been able to go in.] I went straight to the counter ask for the manager I told him the situation. He said he didn't know which one it was there was two taking orders I made my purchase anyway filling he didn't really care that employees where sending business away. Tonight I was in the drive thru again and ask about the special on a sign that clearly advertised for everyone to see not to mention I was reading it off my phone, I was told no mam we never had that special. I simply said really, I just got it last week. She said I'm sorry. No I'm sorry for the main manager you maybe doing ok money and business wise, but could be doing much better as for me...
Read moreLol, I thought the place was closed because there weren't any cars and their outside lights weren't on. I still thought I'd chance the drive-thru because I'd heard about their burgers. The burger was grilled and was stacked high with tomato, lettuce, onion and pickles. The fries were fresh, too. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Thank goodness they weren't closed! Lol! When I got my food, I asked the young man taking orders in the drive-thru if he knew the outside lights were off. He looked surprised and then relieved. He said they'd just had a rush and they'd all forgotten about the lights and he sort of chuckled. I laughed and told him that it looked like they were closed because there weren't any cars and there weren't any lights. He laughed again and said he'd definitely take care of it and thanks for the heads-up. See? There ARE some good, polite...
