Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Jasper

The food is worth the wait. Although Freddy's has been around for almost a decade in Alabama, it is new to the area of Jasper. It also has locations in Foley, Helena, and Decatur. It is widely accredited for serving up some fantastic burgers so I decided to dive right in and check it out. They also have great onion rings and French fries, but most of all, I loved the dessert. It was very scrumptious, thick and creamy! Reese's Creamy Peanut Butter Shake, to be exact. Freddy's also features an Oreo Custard Sandwich--in here, you can choose vanilla OR chocolate custard between your Oreo wafers! The food is moderately expensive. We had to wait about 40 minutes in the drive-through to get our food, but it was worth it. The place is newly built and just recently opened for business here and it is most likely going to stay pretty busy all summer. The staff was very friendly and they helped us with everything we needed. Parking in the back is convenient and the atmosphere was pretty hectic, but that is to be expected since its doors have just been opened. I have moved my rating to a lower standing due to the fact that the store in Jasper I've been through there three times now One time I come through and my order was so thick I couldn't drink it but next time I come through not only was the staff laughing cutting up a plane my milkshake sit there for 10 minutes and was unthawed by the time I got to it and to make matters even worse it was half full of nothing but candy pieces so you couldn't drink it because every time you drink candy got in it when I was done with what little bit of ice cream was in it the cup was half full of candy pieces and it was a large milkshake and the last time I come through my milkshake was drinkable but it was nothing more than cold milk. Truly think this is a great place to eat Love the food but the people that are working in there need to stop playing and get back to the way it was when it...

My husband and I went the first weekend they were open! It was bananas! The line was so long and people were so crazy!

We decided to park and go in. We still had to wait like 30 minutes. It was worth it to me. Their smash burgers are quite good! So are their fries!

Their fry salt is really good. They have their own fry sauce as well but it’s a little more sweet than I would like.

We went there recently maybe a week ago. Line was long but not nearly as long. We still had to wait at least 15 minutes.

I really didn’t have high hopes for this fast food restaurant. The food was good and service isn’t bad besides having to wait. But that will die down when it becomes less new.

I still haven’t tried their custard yet either. Hopefully soon I will. I also forgot to get pictures/videos both times. Maybe the third I won’t and I will back and update...
