This review comes for several reasons. First off; let me at least explain the positives: The coffee is amazing. No doubt, best cup of coffee in the area. The girls inside try their best although I do believe simple math and lack of understanding from rear kitchen staff could be an issue,
Overcharging - several times when arriving to pick up coffee and food for the family (yes up until now almost a daily regular, usually over 100.00 a week), the total does not add up. For instance this morning: 32.00 tab (which seems excessive considering what was ordered) - one crepe is 8.99 - one sausage/egg/cheese croissant is 4.99 - 2 cups of coffee at 2.75 each. They said my wife also ordered a bowl of oatmeal for 5.00, which she did not. Either way, paid for it but still doesn’t add up. Couple times before that, realized I was being charged 5.75 for a coffee (ringing it up as a latte).
Other thing: Kitchen staff does not seem to understand common procedure. For someone who is allergic to pickles and juice, I’ve asked everytime for NO PICKLE on the side - Everytime. 8 out of 10 times, they still manage it in the box. So I’m sure you ask, “why continuously order them?” Because, on a good note, when no pickle on the side, they are amazing. My wife usually will eat it and I’ll either make something at the house or run back out to a local fast food chain. The lady this morning argued that it wasn’t in the crepe but on the side. Again, I absolutely cannot do pickle juice/pickles. It soaks into the crepe and I puke. Infact this morning there was a 3 minute convo before the food came out how important this fact was.
So not only overcharged on several occasions, but service in back not understanding and food consistently wrong. As much as I absolutely adore their coffee and the sweet ladies who work so hard, I do not believe I will keep promoting their product at this time. If they can get some of these small issues resolved, we may give it another go. Otherwise, I’ll find somewhere else to purchase my cup...
Read moreOn Wednesday, the 26th of February, I got in line at 4:55 behind 1 car. The license plate on the car was DORATHE. They must have been family or something. I only saw one drink passed to the car. So the other one must have been passed before 4:55 because I told the girl it took that long for one drink. And she told me, no, it was 2 drinks. They passed what I thought was a debit card. The girl that was supposed to be making drinks was just standing there talking and talking and talking. Then they passed a phone back-and-forth. Another car had pulled in behind me, and the man that was working in there, got out and went to the car behind me and took their order. He was working on their second drink. When I got to the window to place my order. The girl said, I'm so sorry. I don't know who the people in the car were, but they must have been special. I wonder if the car behind me was special as well. I said, how did I get bypassed that you serve the car behind Me Before You serve me? They said that was the way they did it there.. by then, I was more than aggravated. I have been there before, and the service was usually very good, and the drinks were usually very good. Most of the time I tip $3 to $5 on a drink. That costs me $5 and change. At Christmas time, I tipped $20 for my drink. Sometimes not, but usually they were. I don't know if I'll ever go back to sit there and wait 20 minutes while they're working on the second drink and getting them out of my way and serving the car behind me. I don't know what kind of circus that was going on in there today, but it was horrible. I drove off mad and without a drink. Take your chances, but I don't know if I'll take...
Read moreSo, since when do you go to a coffee shop and order a sweet tea and it’s 3.50$ a tea!? You got to be kidding to me! The tea wasn’t even that good. I just, I don’t know who makes the prices or runs the joint but they need to compare prices with other places and coffee shops around and go off that. There is no way I’ll ever buy a tea from there coffee shop , not at that price. I’ll go to McDonald’s instead. So, Another note. The lack of disrespect, and not severing their customers, like a good coffee shop, would know, Instead treat people and customers like they don’t belong there That’s absolutely absurd! Yes I know I left a good review before, But that was when it was in a good state. Now this place has gone down the tubes. Honestly it needs to be cleaned up and restructured. With proper management and proper manners and proper training. Because this is honestly not how I pictured a coffee Shop to be ran. Star bucks, Dutch Bros they know how to properly train their employees and also have proper management. When I go to these places I feel welcomed and I feel like I’m going to get adequate service. Not the opposite. So with all that being said I really honestly feel like there should be a pro audit done to help them see the problems that they need to address. Again very very very disappointed with this place and management. Will not go back till I see a change. Hope this review helps in some way shape of form. Have a wonderful...
