I visited this location on and off for years now. The service is hit and miss, you have the good staff & then you have the rude staff. As with any fast food joint. I would have given them 3 stars, however the management team is slacking anymore. I had issues with my food and when I spoke up about that, I was given nothing but issues. They requested and demanded receipts, that I offered to them once my CPA gave them all back and refused to remake my order or refund me my money. I called the taco bell number and filed a complaint, but have yet to hear back from them over the issues. So the Management team has poor business values. I continued to attempt to get a remake for a month, after being told by different people I could and then couldn't. So I went back and took my receipt yet again & was told the same thing, that they wasnt replacing my meal or refunding my money. I held their drive thru up, until they decided to be ethical with things and to do what was right.
I have two issues with this location. I had ordered a multi-pack of the Doritos cheese tacos supreme and was given the cool ranch instead, on-top of that, I found dead bugs in my taco meat. Granted, bugs are in almost all of our foods that are mass made, but it still grossed me out and I wasnt about to eat them. I returned that night and was told they were closing up and that their registers were closed & I'd have to come back. I did go back the day after and nothing was done. 5 times I attempted to get my money back or at least have my food remade fresh and issue free, they never did offer to fix anything. I had the multi-pack of uneaten cool ranch tacos with me twice during those visits.
I requested a refund on the original order, they refused.
I asked for a remake, I offered my receipts and the original given tacos back, they refused.
SO I SAT IN THEIR DRIVE THRU FOR 20-30 MINUTES THE LAST TIME I WENT, UNTIL THEY CALLED THE STORE MANAGER FOR APPROVAL ON MY MONEY OR MY TACOS!
Sorry to everyone caught behind me that night!
Sad that I had to resort to making others wait over a remake. Sad that the management team wasnt competent enough to handle my issues.. Sad that even the GM wouldnt return my phone calls, over something as serious as this.
What if I was allergic to the food you gave me? what if the dead bugs caused serious issues? There's a reason why people request refunds or remakes. I attempted to do it discretely and be nice about my mess-ups, but you were rude to me and treated me like a food bandit when I had everything you needed.
(come to find out from a friend that manages another location, they weren't even suppose to ask me for a receipt OR give me any issues on remaking my order after I told them what was wrong. I was told by him, that it violated corporate rules and it could cost them their franchise if it was a franchise location or that it could cause corporate to penalize the store for the infractions.) - GOOD TO KNOW FOR FUTURE TACO BELL ISSUES! Thanks JD!
Long story short, they refused to just remake my tacos, which was all I wanted.. They winded up giving me a refund at the window and I took that money straight to mcdonalds! Where I had myself a wonderful chicken tender wrap bug free and cheaper!
Almost a $20 profit loss due to a replacement request? Not logical by any means & the management and team members need to be properly trained on issues like that.
The customer is always right, even when they are wrong.
In my case, I offered the food back and I even offered a receipt and offered to play them a recording of the manager and staff members on duty those days, that told me it would be replaced, just to get there and have nothing done.
corporate will be getting a certified delivery of an official complaint, now that the General manager and regional or area manager has refused to call and hasn't returned my calls. it was a humiliating experience for me and the was I was talked to and treated was not appropriate by any means. Especially considering I had bugs in my food and my order was...
Read moreCorporate needs to come in and fire most of the employees and completely start over with this location. They should hire some people who actually want a job and don't get mad at the customer when you cause them to have to work. Just went through the drive-thru at 11 pm only to find a typed message taped to the ordering menu screen that said "temporarily closed." upon pulling to the window to inquire about the situation, I see workers cleaning inside. They see, and ignore me for about 5 minutes until one finally comes over. I asked him what's going on, he replies "we're closed man" I said "yes I can see that but why are you closed and when will you re-open" and he responded "we're closed all night for maintenance." Does regular every day cleaning now constitute a valid reason to close a restaraunt for a night? At Taco Bell in Jeff city it does. I briefly worked at a Taco Bell years ago in another state and most of the time late at night our closing managers would tell us to turn customers away saying that our computers were down and we couldn't take orders. So I know for a fact from firsthand experience the tactics lazy fast food employees use to get out of having to work. I've had bad experiences with the employees at the Jefferson City location more often than I've had good experiences. Any time they get your order wrong and you bring it to their attention, they get rude and argumentative. They (including the managers) treat you like you're just looking for free stuff when you tell them they forgot part of your order. Don't bother going to this location after 10 pm because the night crew is the laziest I've ever seen and more often than not they will make your experience a nightmare. It's blatantly obvious that they are simply upset at you (the customer) because you are causing them to have to work. Taco Bell is great but they need to take pride in the employees they hire. As of now the kids working there love to see Taco Bell lose customers forever because it means less work for them. Not...
Read morey'all are not a good taco bell lol. went through the tiny drive thru around midnight in a big truck, so it's hard to get around the curves comfortably. half of the order was messed up. asked if they could bring the remade food and what they left out of our order to the door, but they said they couldn't even after I explained we are in a big truck and the driver is currently eating. lady on the phone didn't acknowledge anything I said and told me to come back through the drive even after I explained, showing zero active listening skills? asked for sour cream on all tacos, didn't get that. left out a taco. doritos locos taco wasn't supreme like requested and was so soggy and old it fell apart when I picked it up.$30 would have been better spent at McDonald's.. fries were older than biden himself. if y'all gonna work fast food, please double check the product before serving it to the customer, and the order before sending it out. I've worked here before. when you aren't busy, there's no reason for that many careless mistakes. I understand things happen, but not when you aren't busy and the customer calls back giving you a chance to fix the mistake, but the only way you agree to fix them is not exactly possible for the customer. service was shi*, food was too. definitely not coming back. friendlessness and accuracy are the main goals in customer service, and yall's night shift...
