Aztlan Mexican Grill is a hidden gem! Hands down, they have the best tacos I’ve ever had. My husband and I ordered Asada tacos, and we tried them on both flour and corn tortillas. Both were out of this world, but the flour tortillas literally melted in your mouth, while the corn tortillas were so fresh, you could taste the authenticity in every bite.

The rice and beans were homemade perfection—exactly how comfort food should taste. The service? Absolutely top-notch. The staff made us feel like family, and they were so warm and attentive from start to finish. We also couldn’t get enough of the chips and salsa—fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice.

With great prices and portions, Aztlan Mexican Grill has officially become our go-to spot for Mexican food. Next time, I’m definitely trying the fajitas—I can’t wait! First, the food came earlier than the estimated time which is always a win 🙌🏼 also my driver was very nice and actually read instructions and came upstairs to me unlike other rude drivers… then, I opened the boxes… and even before trying anything I instantly knew it was going to be delicious! You wanna know my favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Chicago? Aztlan Mexican Grill on Montrose! Literally THE BEST! The portions are great and the flavors are hands down the best I've had. No other restaurant comes close. Especially in the quesadilla and burrito department. Love love LOVE the homemade corn tortillas for the quesadillas. They're unreal. And they don't put a bunch of filler rice in their burritos which is an extra A+++! Did I mention how tasty all of their meats are? Well they're out of this world full of flavor.
