Big Hill is a big hit!

I brought my parents here on Friday for dinner and it was a great call! The decor is a mix between modern and old school barn type decor.

We sat ourselves and the only negative was no one came to take our order for about 10 minutes until I made some eye contact with the hostess and one of the waitresses. That was the only hiccup.

I had one of their Manhattans which was very smooth and a great drink.

Beyond that I did their BH Burger which consisted of beef, cheddar, onion, lettuce, special sauce, mustard, pickles, toasted brioche. I will say next time I'd get the secret sauce on the side. I seemed to get all over the bottom of the burger making the bun soggy. It was very tasty and the accompanying fresh cut fries were great!

I can't wait to come back maybe for brunch on a weekend and check out their patio. Plenty of street parking...

Food is great. Service is great. However, they get one star for their predatory illegal pricing scheme.

Item price on the menu: $7 Item price on the bill: $8.32

Item price on the menu: $15 Item price on the bill: $16.64

Item price on the menu: $3.50 Item price on the bill: $3.64

Item price on the menu: $10 Item price on the bill: $10.40

I was actually on the verge of calling the owner / onduty manager over to compliment them on this place and how I was going to become a regular and I was planning on leaving a 25% tip. After the bill arrived and I saw this hot garbage, I left a standard tip less all the illegal overcharge fees (which were explained to me as "credit surchrages" by the waitress). I will never...

Pleasantly surprised by this place located on Bryn Mawr between Kedzie and Kimball. The initial impression was that the prices on the menu seemed a bit high given its location. And some dishes like hummus plate, which consisted of cut up carrots and cucumber with pita bread and a large spoonful of hummus, was not worthwhile at $14. Same goes for a bowl of Irish cabbage soup for $10. Having said, other items like chicken wings and burgers were quite delicious and were worth paying little more for them. While their great beer selection and wonderful cocktails, and many will go here because the options are limited in the area, the price point is little too high for...

I went here because I been to Bryn Mawr Breakfast locations and theh recommended this place two or three times. However, I was very disappointed on food. Food was very tasteless. Way to overprice for plain rice vegetables on top and meat on top of all that. It looked more like bowl than anything else. Paying $26 for each was very expensive and no taste. Tables didnt even have salt and pepper shakers to add some flavor to it. Drinks are way over price too $16 for a small drink. Forgot to take picture of it though
