I have to start by saying Mr Anthony Bartucci is a wonderful man who know the meaning of service & creating & sharing CREATING old school GREATS

I came in on Friday June 28th around 10am I had wanted to visit his fresh pasta shop for over 3 yrs. But I’m 60 miles away But since I was having my knives sharpened at Northwestern Cutlery & wanting to hit 1 of my fave Italian Bakeries. Il Gardino on Harlem I could hit my favs so was so PLEASED to see his delightful Pasta Shop Trust me when u live 60 miles away you do what u need to I entered the shop & interacted with the affable Pasta Master. He explained everything quite well I purchased LOTS of raviolis some arrancini past Sauces He offered me an espresso which was so sweet. Then he brought me out a half of what I believe was a cheese panzaotte. It was so good. He saw I enjoyed it & brought out the other half. I purchased over 100 in rav’s & sauce That night I enjoyed the arrancini & the second night the other. I was in HEAVEN I cooked the artichoke ravioli on Sunday & With the bacon red sauce and added some of my homemade sauce I took the leftovers to my coworkers & they were thrilled they raved about everything I believe his son may have checked me out & threw in a focaccia. That focaccia was like eating at my nonnas along with the ravioli I can’t wait to go back & wherever u live it is DEFINITELY worth the drive

Run, don’t walk to Pasta Fresh! Their combination of quality, selection, and old-fashioned customer service is a disappearing breed. Tina welcomed me with a smile as soon as I walked in. This was my first visit to the tidy and well run food counter and store and I told Tina I had dropped in on a recommendation for their arancini…But, Wow! …Everything there is so fresh and well made that I quickly filled up a shopping basket. Even before I could grab a basket, though, I felt like family — Tina made a velvety espresso for me and brought out a piping hot panzerotti to try while I browsed the store shelves for Italian pantry staples and the refrigerator/freezer section for ready made pasta, entrees and sauces/gravies. The owner, Tony, also introduced himself and it was a treat to talk with him. I can’t wait to cook up the homemade Italian sausage I bought and Mama Tina’s own prepared sauce. Not only do I have everything I need to make an Italian homestyle feast, Tina made sure I left with cooking tips, too! Thank you, Pasta Fresh, for creating a treasure in Harlem Avenue...

Everything about this local Institution is classic Italian!. The beautiful indoor Decor really makes you feel like you are sitting in a small Cafe somewhere in a town in Italy. They have many Italian foods to choose from in their cold and dry goods section of their store. They have excellent choices for Italian olive oil, cooking supplies, and all the Staples necessary for making a traditional Italian meal. Then on top of all that they hand make fresh pasta every single day to take home and cook! We ordered six types of pasta noodles and they really made our Christmas meal memorable.
