Want Chinese food that is good? I mean really good! I have tried literally dozens of different Chinese restaurants in Metro Chicagoland and I can tell you that this place is hands down one of the best around. Located just outside Ohare airport, it’s tucked away in a little strip mall between a 7-11 and a laundry mat. This place has some of the best tasting fried rice and egg rolls that I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. I typically go classic egg roll and almost always order the beef fried rice. On this visit I also ordered the orange chicken. I ordered from the lunch special menu, which is typically available from 11 am to 3 pm. You can still order from the lunch menu after 3 for an extra charge. The charge is worth it because even with the lunch special you come away with enough food to feed 3 people or have 3 separate meals for yourself. The food is always cooked to order and is so savory and delicious. The beef in the fried rice has a really nice smoky flavor that adds to the overall dish. I can never get enough of this. The orange chicken was spot on. Sweet and spicy, yet not too sweet. You actually get little pieces of orange in the sauce which makes this restaurant stand out amongst the rest because the rest usually cheap out on this. The staff is really friendly and the restaurant itself is a small cozy storefront that allows for about 25-30 people to dine in. For the money this is the spot. It almost feels like a crime walking out with so much food for the price you pay. Hurry up and go get you some mighty tasty Chinese food, you know you want some!!!

First time trying this place. I used delivery and there was a $8.29 delivery charge so just be aware if you choose delivery. We ordered the steamed dumplings(pork)- $6.95, small spicy chicken low mein(we asked for it to be spicy)- $7.95, and the dinner special for the Mongolian Beef that came with 1 egg roll and egg fried rice-$10.25. The steamed dumplings were huge but very doughy. Normally for the steamed dumplings I was expecting the thinner casing. I feel like these were closer to potstickers that they steamed. The pork was good though and the dipping sauce was tasty. The spicy chicken low mein and fried rice were very bland and plain. Once I added additional soy sauce, it was ok. The Mongolian beef was very tender and delicious but the Mongolian sauce itself was bland. The egg roll was great and probably the highlight. We are taking leftovers so the kids can try and I’ll update this review with their feedback. It was hard to order as I called 773-693-3223 and they took my phone number down and said someone would call me back. No one called for 10min so I called back and they had me on hold. Then said the restaurant would call me back so I think the business number is someone’s cell phone and then they reach out to the restaurant and get the call back. The delivery service that they used is nice because it sends you a link so you can track your order and the person was very nice. Don’t forget to tip your delivery people!

Fried chicken tasted freezer burned and not fresh. Fried salt and pepper shrimp still had the skin and the legs on... I'm assuming it's the norm here. The garlic shrimp and broccoli tasted a bit sour and there were maybe only 5 small pieces of shrimp... other locations they would give jumbo shrimps for that quantity. The ho fun was ok, a bit bland and a bit off in taste too. I also got the Szechuan fried (it doesn't need to be fried, probably better if it wasn't) spicy fish and the fish tasted like it was frozen too, but after I recooked it, put fresh ginger and sesame oil it tasted much better. I also got the pork steamed dumplings and it seems there was cabbage in there as an added filler or for taste... I was not fond of the cabbage, but otherwise the dumpling was probably the best. I spent over $70 and they still charged for the hot chili oil -mind you, I didn't get any plum sauce or sauce whatsoever for my dumplings.

I live right around the corner so I have ordered from them for several years. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. If you like sweet and sour sauce with your egg rolls this is not the place for you. This is the fourth time I have gone and they refuse to give sweet and sour sauce with my order. You have to ask for it and even when you do they will let it be known it is expensive and try to push duck sauce on you because they say it’s cheaper. In my opinion it taste like oil. I ordered almost $60 worth of food. When I asked for sweet and sour sauce for the six egg rolls I purchased. I was told I could pay 50 cents for it or to grab duck sauce. I understand 50 cents is not a lot of money but I think it is absurd that they refuse to give sweet and sour sauce with peoples order. When I asked to speak to the owner the girl behind the counter told me he was not there. I then asked for his name and she said she didn’t know his name. I proceeded to ask for her name and she told me it was Eli. I doubt that is her her name. I guess moral of the story is at the end of the day don’t go here unless you are prepared to buy your own sweet and sour sauce. It is not about the money it’s the principle and I refuse to support a business that has rude employees. I would rather drive into the city and go to a place that has been around for years on Diversey and Western. They have excellent food and have never been rude to me. I will take my money and business over there from now on. Lastly, I told “ElI” I was going to leave a review about the situation and she didn’t seem bothered and turned around to take care of the...
