Dai Yee's Asian Kitchen — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

wanted to come on here for a few things. first, i was craving chinese food and only order from uber eats so that is the platform i used to search. this was the first restaurant that came up and after comparing it to others, this one seemed to be the fastest delivery which is why i picked it. ordered the general tso chicken and won ton soup. i noticed as i was placing the order for the general tso chicken, it’s said “(hot)” next to the dish. this is typically a hot dish, however most places that serve this offer “no spicy” or “mild” as well as hot. i usually get mild as “hot” is typically too spicy for me. i wanted to try it anyway so i ordered it. next, while i was waiting for my order to come, i looked up reviews on google. i saw someone commented on how they don’t get that much food and the special didn’t even come with rice. i also noticed that the owner replied back to not only that, but to the rest of the reviews. so, another reason i’m here is to recognize the fact that the owner is responding back. thank you for listening to your customers and adjusting your business to meet our expectations. when i received my food, my dish came with rice so i was not only happy but also proud that there’s people and businesses such as yourself that care. so thank you. the food is amazing, the temperature was if i got it straight from the kitchen, and the portions and prices are great! i definitely would be order back here! also, think about adding an option on uber eats for mild for the chicken...

Culinary Delight!!!!! (Must Read Below)

I am beyond amazed with my first ordering experience with this establishment. I am a connoisseur of Asian cuisine and this experience has left me speechless!!!! I read several reviews before I decided to select this restaurant for lunch. I did not have breakfast and was craving something delicious. After reading almost all the reviews, (minus one compliant), I was completely sold. Everyone had something good to say about this place so I thought to myself, why not. I ordered a large beef fried rice, wontons, and the fried chicken based on a review I read. OMG, I was completely amazed! The wontons were crispy and very fresh. It was so crispy others in my office could hear the sound me taking a bite. This was a major plus! A lot of restaurants neglect the power of having a crispy wonton that is still tender but yet fresh and serve soggy wontons instead. I tried the chicken wings next and once again my mind was blown!!!!! Nice and crisp outside with a slightly juicy meat on the inside. I am African American and getting the chicken wrong is a deal breaker for me. This was delightful! I had to hurry and try the rice.....And boy was it a treat!!!! Perfect wok smokey flavor with crispy onions and fluffy egg. I am certainly a new customer and will be ordering again soon. My co-workers are ready to order as well now. So, we have been coming to Dai Yee's for about three years and they have never disappointed us! In fact, every time I try something new..it immediately becomes a new fave! I just tried the Crab Rangoon and they have the best hands down, So flaky and filled perfectly. They make their own sweet and sour sauce and it's pure perfection! When I have had to call, it's always such a very pleasant experience. I called recently to see if I was within thr range for delivery and turns out, I'm not, but they sent me some rangoons for free as a consolation. won't be disappointed! UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! 03/18/2025 Had my favorite thing last night, the crab Rangoon along with the chicken wings and beef fried rice fried rice. I hate to say that I’ve been nauseated all day and diarrhea to top it off. I read another review from a couple months back where the customer ended up in the E.R. The Rangoon is the only thing that I ate that my family did not and I was fine all day….until I was awakened to the bad nausea and diarrhea. The owner is so nice whenever I call but I’m not sure if some safety protocols are being overlooked and corners are being cut, but something happened. I didn’t let anything sit out or anything.
