Durango Bakery #1 — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

I used to deliver coffee cream and heavy cream...for this place. And just to get coffee and 1 or two pieces of bread every time I went there. Because they're really good. Unfortunately I don't work for the dairy delivery company anymore and it's 1hr+ from my house now. The 3 leches,doughnuts, and the jalapeño with cream are my favorite. I'm so glad to see they're still open. Hopefully, I will stop by one day. Even though I had an accident delivering the heavy cream.. It was nobody's fault. The weather was very bad (snow). I still enjoyed my coffee and bread. I recommend this bakery to my friends. God...

This place is a gem in Albany Park. While there are other great bakeries in the neighborhood, no one quite makes the nice slices of tres leches, fruit layer cake, oreo cake that is available for just a couple bucks each.

Besides that, they have everything else a great Mexican bakery aka Panaderia usually has. Almost everything here is baked fresh daily. The service here is always good and friendly.

The Tres leches cake is fantastic. I would say in my top 10 that I had. I also got some Conchas, but sadly, they weren't edible because they were very burnt. The lady who helped us seemed like she was a little annoyed, but she did do her job well. I would give it a second chance. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. The cake is amazing,...
