Gatwyns II — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

I came tonight to have dinner with a friend. I had another one that was going to stop by for a quick drink. The hostess refused to seat my friend and I. Her reasoning was that according to policy, they are "not allowed to seat you if your full party is not there." Meanwhile, my friend that was there with me sat for 45 mins, watching people who came after us be seated. I finally went up to the hostess to ask her why other people that came in after us. She stated because of policy, we were not allowed to be seated or even offered to get a drink at the bar while we waited. I finally asked for a manager. This blonde manager with a bad attitude explained to me that, that's how she runs the establishment and I needed to keep waiting. At that point, arguing with her was going to get me no where. Clearly, she has no idea how to manage a restaurant. I could have ordered an appetizer and drink while I waited. The restaurant could have made money while we waited. Instead, I was mistreated and patronized. I've worked in the food industry for a long time and have never heard of such nonsense. Customer service and good leadership is clearly lacking. Both the blonde female manager and hostess need to reconsider their career choices.

**UPDATE... Your response is a lie. I was never offered anything even water. You should really try not lying when you are caught performing bad customer service. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this bad service. It's rather cowardice on your part when someone launches a complaint, you lie to make yourself seem innocent and degrade your customers instead of retifying the problem. What a joke of restaurant management. As a local for 35 years, I can see why people had warned me about going there.

You do not even know how amazing this place is. I love love love love love this place it is so good. First of all the atmosphere used to be a little messy. The walls were kind of but not really gross. Now the place has been a bit redone and it looks amazing. There are a ton of TVs so you could watch sports. Football is usually on and it is a great place watch football. This restaurant is THE restaurant. Everyone goes here many people in this town are locals in this restaurant. This place has a jukebox so music is always playing. There’s an app for the jukebox so you could pick the songs from your phone. The waiters and waitresses are nice, friendly, and funny. Although there is a bar area this place is great for kids and has a kids menu. Their wings are amazing and I really suggest trying their “triple threat” sauce. It is garlic, barbecue sauce, and hot sauce. Everything here is so good and it’s a really nice cozy friendly place. I have been coming to this place for years and it has only gotten better. I absolutely love the atmosphere along with the incredible service and staff. You really get treated like family from the moment you walk in.

Additional the food is down right amazing. I have had almost everything off of the menu and it has always come out exceptional. The pizza is some of my favorite anywhere and when I have a craving for not much can stop me from going in and grabbing a pie. However it is the weekly specials that really keep me coming back. They are always new, always so creative, and of course always delicious.

Whether you want to stop in for a quick lunch, have a family birthday, or sit a the bar and have a laugh and some great conversation, Gatwyns is the place to do it.
