Jefferson Dairy — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Good evening, over the years Jefferson Dairy has been very underwhelming when it comes to the ice cream game, making me go to neighboring towns or Aj’s in Oak Ridge for ice cream. However, this past year they have done a great job of improving the ice cream and their overall standard making me a customer again but there seems to be something I cannot overlook! What is that you ask? The use of off brand Oreo’s in their cookie monster ice cream. Now I’m not sure if they are Great Value Oreo’s but it seems to be, and if they are using them in the cookies n cream that is very disappointing! The type of sandwich cookie being used is very crucial and Oreo’s are the gold standard in the that department, no question around that. So I please ask you, Jefferson Dairy, to please you use Oreo’s in your ice cream as sandwich cookies are very important to the ice cream game. It maybe double the price of Great Value’s sandwhich cookies but Oreo’s would make all the difference in the world. Thank you...

So far the best icecream that too home made I’ve come across in the whole of new jersey !!!

This place is a cosy space located in Jefferson town close to the Hopscong lake(mind my spelling!)

So we had the flavours of 4-5 icecream and shakes and below is my review Flavours I had! -Dirty diaper - total hit! If you are a chocolate lover it’s a 10/10 -red and blue raspberry- this was as equal to a real raspberry and no artificial essence at all- tangy but sweet!

-had Banana chip shake- that’s like chunky monkey shake from any icecream place but it was worth it’

Price value -10/10 Staff is all teenage boys and girls who help you taste a good flavour and also suggest you

Jefferson Dairy is an unsung hero. There are other places in New Jersey with well known names that have great ice cream but they can't touch this place.

This joint is hidden up on route 15 by Sparta. My in-laws live up there so I'm in the area quite a few times a year. If I drive by, and they are open, it is a RULE in my car, that I must stop.

I buy 2 or 3 containers of elephants never forget and salty jack and make my way back to Belleville. Side note, their black cherry ice cream is absolutely loaded with black cherry. Like, an absurd amount of cherry. If they are out of my usual choices I get the black cherry. Go to this place and get ice cream. There's nothing else that...
