Jefferson Park Grill — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Perfect spot being so close to the Jefferson park blue line. The inside is clean and classic diner looking with a few photos on the wall of the old jefferson park train stop. You order by the door (cash only) and then find yourself a seat and wait. I thought they would call my order but they bring it out to you and even filled my fountain drink for me (literally never had that done for me before), talk about service! I'm pretty sure it's family run, and that the family is the nicest family ever. Food was pretty good, classic diner dishes. I ordered the 3 eggs and corned beef hash. Came with the largest side of potatoes ever. I wish I got a little more hash and less potatoes, but besides that it was amazing. They do put a decent amount of butter on their toast so if that's not your thing, be sure to ask for no butter or butter on the side...

Hands down the best mom & pop place around!!! Our food is always cooked to perfection, its clean, great great owners they are super sweet!! The ribeye is fantastic and the spinach and feta omelet is superb, what more can I say about this hidden gem!!! Check them out asap prices are great as well. UPDATE 7/12/25 WENT IN TO GET TWO BREAKFASTS TOLD THE INDIAN GIRL THAT WE DID NOT EAT PORK, HIGH ALLERGIC WE ASKED IF SHE HAD TURKEY SAUSAGE SHE STATED NO. OK COOL THEN STATED OH YES WE DO WELL GOT HOKE AND ITS ALL PORK! SO IF MY KIDS WOULD IF ATE THEM AND GOT RUSHED TO THE ER I WOULD OF SUED. LUCKILY I SMELLED THEM AND SURE ENOUGH ARE PORK. This diner is a Mom and Pop establishment that makes some delicious meals. One of the cooks is a chef and her soups are amazing. My favorite is her Cabbage Soup. They make up stuff for me that's not on the menu, like Grilled Cheese and Bacon on Rye (Yum!), and Deconstructed Double Bacon Cheese Burgers (for when I need to buy something now but eat it later). They go out of their way to make their customers happy. And the portions for the prices are extremely generous. The staff is extremely friendly. The restaurant is cleaned frequently.
