-Jaunuary 2024- This is kind of ridiculous.. (1 star for the whole experience) I try not to come to this location but the one closest to me on Peterson (legit a block away from me) is being remodeled.
So I made an online order.. As I pulled in another car cut me off and flew past me which I just didn't think anything of it.. But when I pulled up the window the girl said the usual "Are you using our app today..etc" I said "yes" and there was a long pause that felt like forever..until She asked what the code was. I thought it might be busy even tho I didn't see any other cars in the drive thru as I pulled in. I gave her my code and she said to pull up to the second window. As I turn the corner I see a guy in the car that had sped in front of me talking and laughing with the girl at the window. They talked for a min or two and then left. I pull up to the window the girl is still giggling and closes the window on me. And and she is talking to her male coworker. The window opens and she is looking around and He has to come over and tell her I'm the mobile order. Okay. Cool. I ask if I can get a cup of ice. Cool then she charges me for the ice and she hands me my food.
I'm happy to be driving away because I've already been here for a little longer than I wanted. I started checking My order because 7/10 times they don't bother reading the ticket I open my big Mac and it's not the double that I paid extra for. Plus it had pickles and my order was no pickles as well. As I pull back into the drive thru and up the window they almost look annoyed I'm back. Mind you I've been nice and quiet this whole time. Because I understand mistake happen. But when I come back and tell them they gave me the wrong burger. She looked annoyed and asked to see my app to see my order so I showed her and she ended up having to call what seemed to be the manager on duty over to the window She was very professional and also asked to see my app. ( I was a little annoyed at this point because I was one of two cars in the past 10-15 mins. You just had my order on the screen. It should have printed out a ticket with whatever my burger had added or taken out of it. And and she nicely said they would make me a new one.. she walks away. And the little girl walks up.. giggling with some guy behind her at the window and as they shut it. They are just standing there laughing. So finally I get my burger. I check it as I'm leaving. And I just kept thinking Doesn't a big Mac come with cheese? Because I see that they actually didn't put the pickles like I put on my order but now there is no cheese as well. At this point.. idc anymore cuz I just wanna be home. So I just left. But long story short CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING
Also.. I'm scared to go back because they give me the vibe that they'd spit in my food because I have a problem..💀
As of Feb 2024* Update: so I've been back a couple time since my local McDonald's is still under construction.. And wow! I've noticed they hired what I think is to be a new manager on duty and he's a younger white man with a tattoo on his forearm. Everytime he's been in the window..my order was ready .. instantly.. and it was fresh.. and it was correct.. and the experience was also friendly. Don't know his name or I'd shout him out but.. Definitely noticed the difference when he is there! My star went from 1 previously to a 5 because no only was my order "correct".. but 7/10 times they don't care for the little things. I ask for extra salt on my fries or on my patties.. And rarely.. do I actually get it.. I've gotten it the past 3 orders with him being there.. (even when I ask for extra onions which they barley pay attention to, the last few orders seem to actually be 100% what I want...finally!) So thanks for bringing him to this...
Read moreI stopped for a large caramel macchiato on my way in to work this morning 1/21/2020 at around 7:35 am. I always have to wait for it but today was the worst. I paid at the first window but did not get a receipt. I normally wouldn't care, but given what would follow, I really wish I did. I pulled to the next window after the truck in front of me left the drive through line. As the truck left I was now able to see somebody else was already waiting in their car by the door. The person at the 2nd window told me to pull in to spot number 1. So I did and I waited. And waited. The lady who was already waiting in her car by the door had left her car to go inside and see what the hold up was. While she was inside, an employee came out with a drink, saw nobody was in the car, and went back inside. A few minutes later the woman returned to her car with her order, so I figured mine would come soon after. I waited and waited again... Finally I got fed up and went inside because If I waited any longer, I would be late to work. I told them what I was waiting for and they handed it to me right away and said that somebody went out but didn't see me. Where would I possibly have gone if I had left my car? I guess it turns out that first time when the employee went out and saw the lady ahead of me was not in the car, she gave up and went back inside with what was actually my coffee. Do they not distinguish between what type/color car they are looking for? Male/female? Older/younger? Or perhaps tell the person bringing the order out where I would be waiting? They very clearly asked me to wait in spot number 1, so why not tell the employee I was in spot number 1, as opposed to approaching the first car they saw by the door and give up, even though there were cars also waiting in spot 1 and spot 2? Perhaps the drink they brought out was for one of those cars? I now wish I had gotten the receipt so I would know how long I was actually waiting, but I know for sure it was definitely over 10 minutes when I started to keep track. Poor customer service,...
Read moreI came through Drive thru to pick up my award QPC. What should have been a Juicy, delicious Quarter LB patty (pre cooked weight) with 2 slices of delicious real dairy American Cheese, with 5 perfectly placed Dots of Ketchup and 4 perfectly placed Dots of tangy Mustard and tasty Slivered white onion, NO Pickles and a perfectly toasted Sesame Bun. When I open the box I find a SAD excuse for that exact order. It was missing it's slivered onions and for some reason the Michelin rated Gourmet Chef in the kitchen thought that adding a dollop of disgusting Big Mac sauce to the sandwich was exactly what this delicacy needed. So I bring it inside to get this monstrosity fixed. When the manager in her 20s finally comes over to me after telling twice she would be over, I show her what was wrong and she tells them to make me a new one. Telling them over and over no pickles. Which for once they got right... All 3 times... YES after I got my second sandwich I asked to talk to the manager and the lady who was pretending to care and help up to this point told me she was doing the best she could and a constant turnover of staff and training a lot of new hires causes this slow service and incorrect orders. Excuses and no real apology. I then check my 2nd sandwich and find... A QP light onion, NO Cheese. I laughed so loud. To keep from yelling at this joke. I go back to the counter and the manager tries to hide. After standing at the counter for another 2-4 minutes. She comes over doesn't even take the sandwich after looking at it. Barks to another employee to go back and make it because the person back there can't seem to figure out a QPC contains C! I ask for a General Manager to call me tomorrow. She tells me they don't do that. She told me to call the store and the General Manager will answer. In my experience that is NEVER the case. I said I'd give her my number and was handed a piece of WAX PAPER and a pen. I wrote my info, and asked for the store number. She had to HUNT for it. How well does pen stay...
