Los Asadores Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

I literally went to all 3 taco places on Foster between Kimball and Kedzie on the same day! I ordered the same thing in all 3 (1 taco Asada, 1 taco Al Pastor, 1 agua de Jamaica). Los Asadores is 1ST place for me (BY A MILE COMPARED TO THE OTHER 2) Check out the other two reviews and try them all for yourself, but spend your money here first! I sincerely think it is the best!

Pros: SAZÓN!!! They have is locked down! The Carné Asada was soft and tender and seasoned well. The Pastor was fabulous! The taste was nice and spicy with some sweetness from pineapple. The pork was so tender and melted on my mouth! The Jamaica was very tasty, I like it sour and sweet! (They had it the way I liked it) CHEAPER THAN THE OTHERS! IDK how it's the cheapest and best! The presentation was out of the ball park! The other places only served my tacos in a basket. CHIPS! Yes please, and with salsa, the salsa verde was tasty, not as spicy as I'm used to. The people running the joint were very friendly. I will definitely return to try breakfast and other items.

I highly recommend this place! Try it first!

lovely place. stopped in to grab a takeout order i placed online. great prices for the tacos for the quantity and anount u get. got a 3 taco dinner, 1 carne asada, 1 carnitas, and 1 al pastor. havent had much of the al pastor but the carnitas were just lovely and better than most bs that places try to serve u on the northside, carne asada tasted great but was a lil tougher than expected (not a huge complaint or anything, i actually quite enjoying gnawing on meat for a while but i know some ppl are against it) but i did let my food sit for a while so thts on me. all the meats tasted great, my only thing i didnt care for so much was the rice and beans. however as i said i let the food sit for a while so im sure that may affect my opinion but they just seemed to be missing something. the lady that handed me my order tonight was lovely friendly and had a sweet smile, i asked how she was and cut her off when she asked how i was doing back and i felt bad about it afterwards. overall, good taco spot, was pretty busy for a monday night too, id love to...

Decent food poor customer service. On multiple occasions I have order huevos ranchero the ranchero salsa is great but they cook the egg as hard as rock no matter how many times you ask them for sunny side eggs. On another occasion I order for carry out and was told forty minutes I arrived at the stated time and was told they needed more time i ended up waiting an additional 25 minutes and asked for some chips and salsa for the inconvenience and was laughed at by the staff. On my most recent visit I ordered just chips and salsa and upon arrival to my home opened the sals to find it was the not the typical salsa they serve with chips but the green sauce used for tacos. They did not mention they were out of salsa at all when we ordered the chips and salsa and I ended up returning the green sauce for a refund, no apologies for the wasted time driving back and forth and passive aggressive attitude.
