McDonald's — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

I tend to wander around Jefferson Park while I'm waiting for buses and such. Eventually I walked into this place after seeing all the ads for the new bacon club burger. The burger looked good, but just like the "angus" burger I expected disappointment.

This Mcdonalds for the most part is kept clean and is not run down. There weren't many people in here since it was the evening (around 6:30-7pm.) I stepped up to the plate, ordered my bacon club burger combo. It was about $7.35 for the combo, a bit steep for Mcdonalds standards so I was expecting something better than average. Boy oh boy was I surprised! Wow I mean whoever prepare this burger must see themselves as a "burger artist" because it looked as if it came straight off the poster. The taste was fantastic as well, is this truly Mcdonalds or was my drink spiked with LSD, making me hallucinate I'm an alternate reality where Mcdonalds is a 5 star restaurant.

I mean there was real applewood bacon on this thing, not the thin bland strips we're accustomed to. The meat was great, bun looked nice, lettuce was fresh. The sauce they put on it really brought out the flavor, what the heck is going on? As I walked out in disbelief I noted that this place warranted a second visit.

Upon my second visit I decided to order different things on the surprisingly off the wall menu here. I haven't been to Mcdonalds in a while so maybe they made some changes, but I ordered the buffalo ranch McChicken and bbq bacon Mcdouble. Immediately upon walking into the restaurant I spotted what looked like blood on the flood at the registers. Was there a fist fight earlier? Or did one of the "classy" Mcdonalds customers just spit on the floor while they were waiting for their order? Honestly it could be either one.

Got my order in under 3 minutes again and ate them while I waited at the train station. Ah, the usual crappy taste of the McChicken/Chicken Sponge only this time paired with cheap ranch and buffalo sauce. One would think with them upping their game with that club sandwich they'd actually soak the chicken in buffalo sauce or at least toss it with the sauce not just throw a few squirts on after it's been cooked. The bacon Mcdouble had those crappy thin strips and I don't know what was going on with the meat, but it was like eating a rice cake or something. Something tells me the meat on the Mcdouble was near its expiration date.

Overall this place is better than most Mcdonalds. They get your order out fast, don't have long lines, and from what I've seen they have decent people for customers (aside from the mysterious blood on the floor). The new bacon club burger seems to up the standards of the menu, but the rest of the items are still the same crap Mcdonalds has been serving for years with added spins on a few items...

McD made my Christmas story today. This morning I had promised my children a McD breakfast. However, I also had a doctor appointment that went longer than expected. By the time I left the office, I realized that breakfast food was probably be not served anymore. So I called McD and a woman named Ruth answered. She listened to my order request and thought time was against both of us to get breakfast. She listened to me and accommodated my order. When I got there, the cashier took care of me and my order was done to perfection. I was so happy and grateful. I walked to my car and between having my hands busy with purse, phone, drinks and my order bag. I placed the order bag in the roof of my car, while putting everything else inside. Then drove away. When I got home, only 5 minutes away, I realized that I never put my order bag in the car. I left it on the roof of the car. My children were hungry and sad to realized what happen. They thought it is so late and that for sure they won’t have breakfast food anymore. I decided to call and explained what happened. My only hope at this point was to be able to reorder another breakfast and repay for it. I spoke with manager Julio. He asked me to came back. I drove back. The cashier lady gave a smile of empathy, and she called Manager Julio. I think both saw what had happened to me in the parking lot when I drove away with my breakfast on the roof of the car. He asked me to wait and few minutes later I got my breakfast order without me having to explain. I was moved to tears by the kindness of strangers that made me feel like a brand new person. That is what I call superb customer service, but especially AWESOME PEOPLE who elevate the quality of McD to a stellar stop. This is going to be one of my happy Christmas stories to share....

Hi good evening n srry for messaging u n this is really important n needs ur management corporate bck office to make a decision for this location at 4946 n milwaukee tht thy not following there business hour closing for tht clearly say on door 5am-11pm dinning will be close n only open rest 24hrs was drive thru.after dinning close at 11 i mean really is this how the owner let his stuff doing they owned for closing the restaurant early n some peaple like as customer pay each other n doing was this to be rude n meaning stuff n no pay attention during normal.business hours n more this is real not on me only for all i swear to tear n i mean not to be like u know for this people who work on there but tht what thy do to loose n loose n they job so is not customer will be fault its there style on n yesterday i was order my iced coffee vanilla n say one cream with my fries well done like xtra crispy n sandwich xtra season on patty thy cant do it thy gave me my fries from the warmer not crispy thn iced coffee tht turns to heavy death cream with normal.pum of vanilla syrup n sanwich with no xtra season is just a small thing tht thy always make to big deal on it but im srry for getting loose of they careers sooner if always the style like this n not following th mcdonald handbook.right conduct tht thy have to know the all stuff other wise this thing will turn out nothing coming by i swear n believe on it Terrible guys dnt go here swear...
