Miko's Italian Ice (Irving Park) — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Absolutely love me goes it is always refreshing rain or shine, luckily I live within walking distance, which is really nice not to mention. Zach is always very nice and friendly. I love your guys‘s unique flavors. I would love to suggest some flavors cause I actually used to Work at an ice cream shop and help pick flavors or invent flavors so if there’s anyway we could do a little suggestion box for flavors or something like that that would be so cool. Also, I love when you do your fall flavors that pumpkin and the apple/apple cider is fire. If you’re not sure what year you want then I would say coconut is an excellent option as well as watermelon and I’ve seen a lot of really inventive combinations. One of my favorite combinations is I got Kiwi with a cantaloupe and it was incredible probably one of my favorites ever but everybody should come check this place out!!!

Also, I think I had a brief conversation with someone about drawing some really cute designs for pins and possibly some help with social media? I would still love to do that or anything else you need, and I’m open to working if you have any...

Really like this place. It’s ultimately a business, but whenever I’ve come here, it feels like I’m just getting Italian ice out of someone’s doorstep because they’re right by residential homes and the employees are extremely friendly. I asked about their hibiscus and the employee offered to give me a sample. I was thinking it would be a small spoon like at ice cream places, but NO I got a a spoonful, literally. Stumbled onto their block party recently, and the owners were friendly and making sure everyone was getting food or being served. It was really nice to see a local business just be part of the community and to see neighbor support echos the kind relationship this place has. I’ve tried lemon, coconut, strawberry, hibiscus, horchata, and pineapple, and each flavor taste fresh and exactly like the fruit it’s described.
