We started with an order of empanadas- beware, the picture does not accurately represent the order. The picture on their menu shows 3 empanadas with 3 different dipping sauces- the order is just 1 empanada and we had to ask for the sauce, which is just one bottle of an avocado sauce. Read moreHidden gem. Best arepa I’ve had in Chicago. The Reina is so fresh and the avocado is perfection. Portions are massive we got way too much food. Hanburguesa is big bough for two as was the arepa. Tres leches was delicious and these are the best cheese sticks I’ve ever had. The sauces add so much. The people were very friendly but definitely surprised to see two very white people and didn’t speak much English. Be prepared to google translate the menu if you don’t speak Spanish. Very authentic and brought me back to making arepas in college with my Venezuelan friends....

The arepa was crispy on the outside, cheesy and savory inside—solid comfort food. Tequeños were good, though I wish they were a bit warmer.
