Regency Inn Banquets — Attraction in Jefferson Township

I was VERY excited to do my daughters 15th birthday here. But when the day came, it was terrible to say the least. Service was the worst, (only one of the servers was nice to my guests & it was a guy, the girls were a-holes), they didn’t set up how I asked them to, would even let my guest have food for 15 mins before taking the food away from the tables before everyone was done eating their meals, they didn’t leave water on the table for guests to have after the food, and the cake was never cut until I had to address the fact that it needed to be cut.

When the manager was notified, (she has a NASTY attitude btw) her and some other ladies cut the cake and started throwing it on papers for people to take home. Literally throwing them with attitude and all. And speaking nonsense in spanish as if my guests and I didn’t understand.

The girl in charge of the planning was rude. Plus obviously didn’t really know how to handle parties. The miscommunication between her and George was very disappointing to put it nicely. She would tell me one thing and George would tell me another. I did not request open bar due to the fact that it was a couple thousands more, but the girl said she’d give me cash bar instead so everyone had to pay for their own drinks. And on top of all this, they tried to tell me I owed them money for the party when I personally gave all the money to Tony & told me I was completely paid off months ago.

When the day came, they refused to give me a bartender even though it was going to be CASH BAR. All because the lade George has in charge doesn’t know how to communicate with him correctly. My guests and myself were very disappointed with the whole service.

I would ‘t waste my time or money again at this place. Yes, it’s beautiful, I give them that, but the service is HORRIBLE. And the food is not all that great either.

I definitely do not recommend until they get new staff and have better communication with...

I had rented this place for my daughter's Sweet 15 Golden Birthday 5/15/15 and it was the WORST experience I had with the Owner who had a horrible accent and seem NOT to understand English! After several visits to his place, he never told me I needed Security up until the night before, he gave me the run around with black table cloths which he specifically told me I would have to rent them for my daughter's head table, cake table and entrance table...then the night before he told me he will put them after I spent over $150 on purchasing and steaming the table cloths. Then to makes matters worse, those 3 times I visited the place I specifically told him I would come the night before to decorate for which all 3 times HE AGREED and when I got there...THE TABLES DIDN'T HAVE THE TABLE CLOTHES ON!! The night of the party, they didn't want to serve soft drinks, they didn't cut the cake, and HE WAS SMOKING INSIDE HIS OFFICE...which the smell went inside our room!! SERIOUSLY!!! DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE!! I regretted paying paying off the damn place 2 months in advance.!!! PS....I gave it a one star because I had too other wise i couldn't...

This place doesn’t deserve any stars!! Please read this before even visiting the place or signing the contract! Tony is one of the managers who helped us out, extremely disrespectful and grouchy from the beginning! He promised things that he then would tell us we would have an up charge for! We booked the smaller room before December, our party wasn’t until July 27th throughout this whole time tony would lie and tell us there were random fees and up charges. George on the other hand was much more respectful and would respect what he had originally offered! We added appetizers to our package, the day of the party George said that the chef never ordered the appetizer and he had our guests wait over an hour past the time dinner was supposed to be served ! As for the actual dinner, the bread was super stale and the chicken was under cooked ! The waiters were super rude! Tony the older guy was a nightmare extremely disrespectful and when we confronted him about the issues going on he would not offer to resolve our issues!!! Only one bartender at the bar...
