I finally decided to try this pizza place, and I'm delighted that I did. Every aspect, from the food and atmosphere to the staff and dessert, exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given the option to choose our seating. The menu offered an extensive selection of dishes and beverages, ensuring there was something for everyone.
My husband started with a rich and creamy strawberry milkshake, while I enjoyed a refreshing root beer. For appetizers, we ordered the dragon fries and buffalo shrimp. The dragon fries were exceptional, topped with a legendary dragon sauce that tasted like a sweet chili sauce, melted cheese, and finely chopped scallions. The buffalo shrimp were equally impressive, with a tangy sauce that was slightly hotter than mild.
For our main course, we opted for a large pepperoni and sausage pizza. The pizza was cooked to perfection, featuring a crispy, flavorful crust that held up well under the generous toppings. The pepperoni was perfectly spiced, and the sausage added a savory depth to each bite.
To conclude our meal, we indulged in the oven-baked apple crunch dessert. This delightful dish featured oven-baked cinnamon apples topped with a crunchy streusel, rich vanilla ice cream, and drizzled with warm caramel. The combination of flavors and textures was truly phenomenal.
Overall, my first visit to this restaurant was thoroughly enjoyable. The ambience was inviting, the decor elegant and clean, and the bathrooms immaculate. Our outstanding server, Melody, was extraordinary—kind and attentive throughout our visit. I was already planning my next visit with my children when I had the pleasant surprise of seeing an old colleague, Megan, bartending. As we were exiting, the host thanked us for visiting and welcomed us to come again. We will definitely be returning for...
Read moreI came for $0.99 wing night, the ascetics of the place was very nice. We came for wings but ended up trying their pizza, fried pickles, wings, fries and drinks. We were a party of 3 and got there at 530pm on a Tuesday. There was not that many people when we got there. We initially placed an order for 2 drinks and fried pickles waiting on our 3rd friend. They took about 15/20 minutes to get our drinks and fried pickles. The drinks tasted good but you can tell they do not add a lot of liquor to the drink being that it was $13. I don't care to pay $20 for a drink as long as I can taste the liquor. Our food took even longer than the first initial drinks. We ordered a 2nd round of drinks and they also took 15/20 mins. The waiter would every now and then come by our table and ask if we needed anything else, yes, our our food and drinks and he would say, yes they are making them. We then saw our waiter behind the bar making drinks and he never came back to our table. To get the check took even longerrrr. The food is good a 7.5 out of 10 and the service and wait time a 3 out of 10. They need to hire more waiters and...
Read moreHad to give them three stars out of respect I remember them when I grew up in Cicero and once again I stop in for a slice of pizza and they cut the pizzas a lot smaller no more Big slice. I was talking to the people in the table next to me and they felt it was too much money but they went there because the kids wanted to take a look at the place. He mentioned to me he ordered drinks there once and you couldn't even taste the alcohol in them. I figured out what it is you pay for the atmosphere. It's not the same place it used to be when they opened the original store in Cicero. It's more of a museum Showplace and I would say it's the case of the disappearing food. Not much alcohol in the drinks and I'm disappointed about my small slice of pizza. But when you order a large pizza to make up for the quality they put a ton of cheese and who doesn't like cheese. It's not a fast food place anymore it's a sit down and to order carry out and delivery too expensive and theres a lot more reasonable places around. You go there for the beautiful atmosphere and that's what...
