Ordered online for pickup and their website would not allow me to complete my purchase without including a minimum 15% tip. For pickup? Who am I even tipping at that point? There’s even an “other” amount button to enter your own tip. I was going to leave a couple bucks, but the site wouldn’t allow me to submit without selecting a preselect option.

The food was decent. Poke bowl was a bit saucier than I like, though the sauces were good. The fish was quality and none of it tasted less-than-fresh. That said, there are too few pickled topping options available. Ordered the cucumber and carrots expecting them to be pickled, but they’re raw. Only pickled thing was the ginger. Maybe some folks don’t mind this, but I’m a pickle fiend.
My major complaint here is that I ordered the 5 scoops of protein bowl, which is an extra charge over the 3 scoop bowl, but appears to have the same amount of fish. That’s...
Read moreI’m glad I tried out Poke Okie, but it was a bit disappointing due to the long wait time and the amount of food for the price (~$15 for the small poke bowl after tax, even with no premium toppings).
It took about 25 minutes to prepare 2 poke bowls even though there was only 1 other customer, and the orders were pretty similar. The atmosphere was nice and it was an okay place to wait for your food, but it just took much longer than we expected.
They do provide a lot of variety which is a plus, but overall not the biggest fan. Seems like they are working out the kinks since...
Read moreI’m a sucker for poke bowls, so it’s awesome that they opened this spot on the NW side. The staff is very kind, the interior is full of plants which I love, and the food is delicious. The spicy salmon is only coated in Sriracha, so it gives the kick you want if you’re a spicy lover and you taste the quality of the fish better. If I had to list a con it’s that they don’t do chopsticks (am I the only one who feels like poke bowls taste better with chopsticks? lol). This is truly a hidden gem! Hopefully, they won’t stay hidden for much longer as people start to recognize their...
