Sipping Turtle Cafe — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Came here in hopes of getting a bahn mi sandwich. I asked the cashier/Barista (who didn't greet or say a word to me upon getting to the counter) about the sandwich & she says it's americanized. Whatever I wanted some bbq pork BAHN MI. I'm honestly just so upset. $10 for 2 bites of meat and the rest is bread drenched in sriracha mayo. No daikon no cucumber might as well not have put any meat in this...whatever it is. Go to Nhu Lan on sheridan & lawrence for a $8 bahn mi that's filled with flavor, double in size, veggies and most importantly the pork that's supposed to be there! This is a cute place for a coffee date maybe but definitely not built or staffed for/with someone who can prepare a decent sandwich. Don't believe me? Look...

I come here all the time so I might as well make a review. I live around the corner and it’s always so convenient to have this cafe by me when I want an iced tea run or if I’m craving milk tea with boba. My sister and I always get the peach black iced tea but the brown sugar milk tea will always have my heart since they opened in 2020. Everyone there is so sweet and overtime I’ve seen the cafe grow. I’ve always liked the plant aesthetic and the music there is great. I’m also happy they added the little water station too hehe. Also you gotta try the ham and cheese croissant. Usually I get it but I tried the guacamole and egg sandwich and I can’t stop ordering it. But yeah 10/10, go if you ever have the chance:) -Your neighborhood...

My first experience was already great, but my second was more than memorable. I had come in to get something for lunch and realized I left my wallet in a shop across the way. I was about to cancel the order, but one of the workers had assured me I could come back and pay later. On top of that, I told them I would be back to grab my wallet and they reserved my seating in the cafe as well. Once I came back my food was ready and I still had seating, and they assured me I could pay after I was done eating. I'm not sure if this happens often or if they just happened to be very nice, but that was one of the most trusting and above and beyond customer service experiences I've ever gotten and I will...
