I ordered a pozole through doordash, and on the description I asked for oregano and chiles rojos secos, and sour cream because I’m from Mexico and that’s how I grew up eating pozole, they sent me a letter saying that I have to pay for those items, I totally understand the sour cream, because I’ve seen it as an extra, but when it comes to oregano and chiles rojos secos, I mean that’s like charging for salt and pepper at McDonald’s as extra, I called them to see what was going on, and yeah they told me that I have to purchase something that’s worth 3 dollars to be able to get said condiments and sour cream, and put on the requests that I don’t want the 3 dollar item but that I want condiments, they also said they’re going to add oregano and chiles rojos secos to their sides in their menu, I wonder if I ask for salt next time, will the ask for money for...

The rice had clearly frozen peas, carrots & corn and my friends flautas were buried underneath a bunch of stuff with parmasean cheese. She orders from here all the time so I trusted her judgment but neither of us have had anything besides the pozole, I wouldn’t order anything else from here BUT the pozole. Read moreI've been going to this restaurant for the past year and the food is consistently good. My favorite is the bistec and nopal quesadilla, it's is the perfect balance of salt, fat, and acid. My other favorite are the chilaquiles. They have a variety of protein options to add to the chilaquiles but I prefer to go with plain egg. They have a variety of regional pools with all the toppings. The house coffee is brewed with cinnamon which is a delicious treat with any breakfast. The staff is friendly and efficient. There is a credit card surcharge of 2% that you can avoid by paying cash. My experience has been primarily on the weekend and I've noticed traffic picks up in the...
