*Hot n’ Crusty bread is of perfection. *Dinner Side Salad was disappointing iceberg lettuce instead of mixed greens (like most good Italian restaurants), house Italian dressing was good. Veal Bracciole special was okay Marsala sauce was a bit weak but a good texture. Side of Penne Marinara very good! Veal Marsala was good but Marsala sauce was a bit weak too, still a good texture. Side of Broccoli very good! Homemade Carrot Cake good but disappointed no golden raisins or pineapple and walnuts in the cake as described on the menu (therefore not like grandma’s Nona would be disappointed too) sorry! BYOB was appreciated. Spumoni vey good! Coffee very good! Overall quality 3.75 Hospitality very good! Very relaxing environment and music! Born and raised Italian at Belmont and Harlem is a privilege so hopefully Raffi’s appreciates my honest review! We might consider another opportunity to visit again and try Raffi’s seafood linguini? Thank you for the experience and your...
Read moreI've been here for dinner a few times, and I must say, the food is pretty good. There is one thing though that irks me very much. Recently I ordered the Chicken Francese, and the chicken and the flavoring was very good, but the huge insult to this entree was the lack of noodles that accompany this meal. It comes with 3 chicken breast that is supposed to be on a bed of noodles. What noodles? There was so little noodles on the plate, it was completely masked by the chicken. There wasn't enough noodles with that entree, to feed a 3 yr old child. If I had to guess, I received no more than a 1/2 cup of noodles for something that is described as a chicken entree with noodles. Come on! Pasta isn't the most expensive thing in the world, so why be stingey about it? What I received was basically a plate of 3 mediocre sized pieces of breast with wine sauce for dinner. Please! Put some noodles...
Read moreMy wife and I visited this place for date night, and it turned out to be a great little spot. It’s a humble, hidden gem with plenty of authentic Italian dishes—everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The pasta was incredible, the appetizers were great, and the tiramisu was a perfect way to end the meal.
We love that it’s BYOB, and the atmosphere is warm, casual, and unpretentious—just our style. It’s a little slower-paced, but we actually appreciate that. It gave us time to relax, enjoy each other’s company, and really savor the experience.
The owner and staff were very friendly, and the prices are extremely reasonable. We’ll definitely be back. If you’re looking for fast, highly attentive service, this might not be your place. But if you’re after a laid-back, authentic Italian meal in a cozy setting, we’d highly...
