I had really high hopes for this restaurant as we have been looking for something reasonably close by and Real Thai had good reviews.
Perhaps it was an off night, perhaps it was the way we ordered. First of all, we ordered online and picked up. The food was ready quickly. My husband can’t eat spicy food but we’ve never had a problem when we’ve asked for low/“no spicy” Thai food for him before.
First, we ordered the Tom Yum soup. It was full of traditional ingredients - but we couldn’t taste them because the soup was so salty we couldn’t finish it.
He ordered massaman curry, which we’ve both had dozens of times before. It’s known as a thicker curry. Real Thai’s massaman was thin and watery. At first, I thought they had given us two soups. Not great.
I ordered pad see ew with chicken. It was lacking in the smoky flavor I’ve gotten in other wok-prepared pad see ew. The noodles were sort of stuck together with the sauce.
Again, maybe because we didn’t get Thai as it was intended so perhaps it was a “special order” but we expected better.

Read moreOmgoodness gracious I am speechless! We love Thai food and it is hard to find authentic clean flavors. We ordered for the first time and we were BLOWN away! I had the Northern Thai curry noodles, Cashew Chicken, Panang Curry, Pad Se Eew - beef (crispy noodles), potstickers, vegetable egg rolls, and Chicken Satay. First of all, let's talk about presentation. Everything came neatly packed with containers clearly labeled, the food items were plated as if you were receiving them from their hands inside of a restaurant. Now the taste, everything was spectacular. We always have leftovers...well, not today. My picky eater daughter who will always just eat two teaspoons of anything finished ALL of the Pad Se Eew. All the flavors were well balanced and clean (didn't leave a funny taste in your mouth). Nothing was greasy... not even the egg rolls and pot stickers. I highly recommend this place. I hope they have huge success so we never loose them. I can't wait to try ALL of the...
Read moreQuite literally the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The heat was off and the whole place was cold. My friend asked for crispy noodles with her pad seew and they came out rock solid, the veggies were obviously microwaved. I ordered curry fried rice with beef and I am not exaggerating the plate was steaming hot, but somehow my first bite of beef was cold. What in the microwaveable food is this? When I asked to speak to a manager the server was telling me they have a no exchange or refund policy and because it’s on the menu if she takes back our dishes she’ll lose her job. Eventually, she ended up only charging us for our appetizers, but her attitude and demeanor were overwhelmingly impatient and anxiety inducing. As someone who’s been a server and worked in the industry for over 10 years I couldn’t believe her response. This...
