Visited Hobby Lobby with my family yesterday for the first time ever yesterday. The store was amazingly organized, with tons of decorations and items for crafting projects. Very clean. Majority of the staff was polite and pleasant however, after selecting my items and going to checkout, the cashier Susan G was taking care of another patron. While waiting, I noticed that she was very warm and friendly with the patron she was helping. They laughed and smiled. It was a very positive exchange. When my turn came her entire demeanor changed. There was no greeting, no smile, her first comment to me was the price of an awesome poster I had found. She then proceeded to ring up the rest of my items. I then mentioned that I may have had a coupon for 40% off. She sharply replied that there was nothing in my cart that the coupon could be applied to. As I had shopped the 50% off harvest items. She then gave me my total. Needless to say, before I left, I mentioned that the way she treated the previous patron versus the way she treated me was noticed. She was very warm and regarding to her other patron. My experience at the point of sale was very discouraging and made me not want to shop there ever again. She apologized but for me it was not an apology. It was just something for her to say. If I could give any recommendations to the management. You have an amazing store full of every crafters dream. Staff should remember that regardless of skin tone, age or anything else, excellent customer service should always be given. With a greeting, a smile and a thank you. A returning customer is the most valuable. Read moreI've been going to this store for a year and the past 3 weeks there's this cashier she's been really rude and today for some reason there's was a sign saying that jewelry shop was 50%off I read that sign so I got some stuff. When the cashier was scanning the stuff I had I asked nicely if it was on sale because they have a sign for 50% off she rolled her eyes . She said well it's not on the ad. I asked to speak with the manager and she got mad, she did call her and the manager went to check . She said give it to her and she ignored her and when I asked if after she charged the people who where in back of me she could charge me for my stuff she said no if you want the stuff go get back in line . There's was a long line and I was just waiting for them to confirm the amount. I told the manager she said I'll take care of you on this register. And when I asked for my stuff she tossed it . I felt so angry but at the same time tried to stay calm. I think this cashier needs customer service training this shouldn't be happening. Please train your cashier's to be nice and have a good attitude I've worked as a cashier and never had this type of attitude I love hobby lobby and never had this type of issues with cashier's before . Which they were I just got my item and was headed upfront..and this lady kept following me with her cart right behind me. I told her to stop following me and she wouldn't stop. This behavior was inappropriate I was with my son too. She was Acting if I'm not gonna leave. Mind you it was my first time there and terrible experience. That lady had a nasty attitude and to top it off she was upfront talking about me with the manager. I understand that feeling if getting rid of people when you're closed.. but this lady was up my personal space. If you guys can get her name I would appreciate. I felt harassed by this woman. This lady isn't security either to be escorting me out like that. So first and last time I'll be going there. And please save yourself from that persons harassment and Don't step in there. I'm shocked because people have told me it's great there. But unfortunately I had a the worst experience there.
