I went there today for a burrito dinner , I've eaten there in the past year three times ,was satisfied with the meals , today I wasn't though . The burrito was very poorly put together as a burrito . It lacked all ingredients of a true Mexican burrito , like I said ,this was my fourth time , in a year eating there . The burrito had oil dripping out it , I mean dripping , it was lacking of chopped lettuce ,badly and it only had a couple of small tomato wedges , when it should have been chopped tomatoes . It has no sour cream sauce added to it at all . Good thing it's me doing the complaining . Imagine how embarrassing it would have been for them , had they had the world reknown chief Gordon Ramsey stop in there for a burrito dinner . I'm sure his review of them would have been far worse than mine . Someone needs to tell that cook , show him , if necessary how to make a burrito , that looks like a burrito and definitely taste like one too , with all the toppings of a burrito . What they don't need right now , in today's rough economy , with restaurants struggling to begin with , bad reviews . Too many bad reviews close down restaurants . Good reviews bring customers in. They clearly need to...
Read moreI've been wanting to stop by so I went today for the first time. I wasn't really happy with the food. I had Enchiladas rojas and tacos de carne asada and Al Pastor. The enchiladas were not to bad, however instead of dipping the tortillas in the sauce, they had a bottle of the sauce that they poured on top. The sauce was tasty, but it wasn't the traditional enchiladas. It comes with beans and rice, the rice was okay but the beans taste and looked like they were from a can instead of freshly made. The tacos, I've had better at Taqueria Thaly's on Belmont & Austin. The salsa could have been better, to watery. I had a banana licuado(milkshake), I've had better but it wasn't bad. The best one is at Atotonilco. They should offer the green salsa that is like a creamy avacado sauce, Thaly's has this. I'll probably give them one more chance and try...
Read moreWent in with a couple coworkers for lunch, some of them had brought their own lunch but others were ordering from the menu and the waitress agreed to let us eat there. Also brought us âcomplimentaryâ basket chips and salsa that none of asked for and thought was free like any other mexican restaurant. All we ordered was two taco dinners and one extra taco, their taco dinner consists of only two tacos btw. The total for that was $50!!!!! Ridiculously expensive for bad food. Once we told her that we had ordered tacos dinner she ended up still charging everything separate- the rice, beans, tacos- stating it wasnât no longer a taco dinner? Makes no sense. Food wasnât even good and getting scammed at the end is just the cherry on top! I could recommend you a way better Mexican spot literally down...
