This review is just for my experience that day and for 3 specific menu items. The great staff and restaurant overall is still something I'd recommend but not for these menu items in their current state.
My wife got the Chorizo Skillet with a side of pancakes and I got the sausage gravy/Hollandaise biscuit.
Chorizo skillet was underwhelming. Scrambled eggs were overcooked and the ingredients for some reason didn't come together taste wise. I haven't eaten it but visually maybe if the potatoes were cut smaller and all the ingredients were cooked together it would be better. Currently, it looks like the ingredients were cooked separately, then put together separately in a bowl.
Side order of pancakes were very undercooked and was raw in the center and they were cooked with none/almost no butter (easily noticeable because a pancake with extremely even browning means it was cooked with no butter). This is usually caused by a batter that's too thick and cooking temp is too high. Batter needs to be watered down some more and pancakes have to be cooked longer at a slightly lower temp.
Sausage eggs Benedict were very good except for the sausage patty. Biscuits were crispy and fully cooked (not doughy and pasty), poached eggs were perfect, sauce was good, but the sausage patty was like a salt bomb. Had to drink some water after the very first bit with sausage.
Parking spaces are extremely tight. The day I went, most of the cars were SUVs. I've seen a few people struggle to carefully get in/out of their cars as to not damage the adjacent vehicles. Unfortunately, the person that parked next to me was careless and slammed their door into my car (that I got less than a month ago) which caused some paint to chip and left a nice scratch. It'd be great if the parking spaces were spaced out more because you will eventually get your car door damaged if you're a repeat customer.
This restaurant is fairly new and I definitely want to give the restaurant a chance to fix/improve some things. Everyone was very nice and I believe the owner (chef maybe?) greeted us and asked if things were ok. Care was put into this place and I hope they can take some honest constructive criticism during the first...
Read moreTook a dear friend to lunch for her birthday. The place was near her house, the reviews seemed good and the menu looked plentiful so we decided to give it a try. We purposely decided to arrive around 1:00 to not be in the thick of the lunch crowd. When we pulled up it made a good first impression - it is fresh and clean, pleasant planters out in front and a welcoming atrium area for dining. The menu is plentiful and it is tough to decide what to order with so many seemingly good options. Prices seemed a little on the high side but I realize eating out is expensive these days. We were seated by a pleasant hostess. When our waitress arrived that was a different story - she couldn't have been more indifferent. I ordered the Reubin sandwich that came with fries or soup; I opted for the cream of broccoli soup. When the soup was place in front of me I eagerly took a spoonful only to realize that it was way too thick (about the consistency of a carton of yogurt) and didn't taste right (like it had been in the fridge for a couple too many days). I pushed the soup aside and visited with my friend while we waited for the rest of our food to arrive. A few minutes later my sandwich and her skillet arrived and we both began to eat. My friend said her skillet was ok but not great, my sandwich was greasy and the corned beef seemed rather skimpy for a $14 sandwich. Part way through the sandwich I took another taste of the soup and confirmed my first impression - yuk, second bite was worse than the first. I looked around for the waitress to send it back but she was nowhere to be found; I certainly did not want to get up and make a fuss for fear of ruining the amibiance of our outing. The waitress finally showed up to leave our check, by then the only thing I wanted to do was pay and get out. The full bowl of soup sat there, and as the waitress removed it she didn't say 'do you want to take it with you' or 'was there something wrong' she just removed the plate. The entire experience was...
Read moreThis restaurant sits where the old Big Top restaurant once stood. Totally remodeled and a fresh new look, its Brand new everything! Looks great , modern, fresh awesome views from wherever you sit and the food is very fresh and you taste it too, from the freshly squeezed strawberry/ orange juice⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, to the breakfast potatoes served as a choice over the hasbrowns, WOW!
Had the cappucino- perfect! Fresh fresh fresh ! It was soo good that I didn't even have to add sugar. Also ordered a iced latte and again soo darn good, you won't go wrong with either choice.
I ordered a bowl of the chicken noodle and guess what? Made fresh in house!! Not salty like those canned ones you get served at in the majority of restaurants! Broth was on point ash's the veggies/ chicken was FRESH!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️,
I Ordered the Guiltless omelette and had them add Feta cheese and diced jalapeños⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ with hashbrowns , and we also ordered the Mediterranean Benedict and oh my gawd how could is this⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
You can taste the olive oil used a spray I assume when they cook so not only is it healthier but tastes so much better overall for your health.
The atmosphere here is second to none I've ever experienced and the atmosphere here is amazing!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The staff here is all attentive, & very cordial , everyone here helps everyone. You may have your server at your section but you can see and feel the positive vibes/energy carried out from the minute you walk in at the host stand to the ones that bring the orders out to your table.
Even ordered a pastry in the way out. It's Greek, looks like a macaroon but more like a tiny Boston cream and boy oh boy was it goooood, but too sweet but sweet enough to enjoy the freshness of it and chilled just right! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Can't wait...
