Taqueria Nuevo Jalisco — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Used to be my favorite go to, especially cause of the amazing food & service.

Today however has changed my view on the place. I placed an order & a newer cashier took the order & rung it up. Overcharged me completely. Didn’t question it right then & there. Looked over menu and confirmed so. I confronted the cashier who off the bat placed the blame on me. I asked to speak to a manager. And to my surprise get the same treatment. The owners son & i went back & forth all while insted of fixing the issue he rather berate his long time customer, & talk about how he pays for the lights & bills not realizing its the customers who keep a business alive. Very unprofessional & disappointing the very least. I have seen this place struggle with no cook or cashiers at times ( i have been here many many times over 6years) its sad they finally got the food back together and have a new cashier who insted of training her & showing her how to improve so this exact situation doesn’t happen again, they show her this is the way to not own up to her mistake but also how to treat customers & that it will be tolerated .

Not even going to start how my refunded was basically throwing in my hands!

Best of wishes to this family owned restaurant. Wish the owner was there...

I honestly believe people should start paying cash here I used my card for the first time here and 3 days later it was trying to get charged at a restaurant in Mexico called soundsetbeachclub for 149.95 when I called and tried to figure out how my card information could’ve gotten leaked I was brushed off I’ve been there plenty of times and always paid cash first time using my card and at this location what a coincidence honestly love the food and service is quick but sad to say I don’t trust...

Food is great but is constantly getting the order wrong especially when it for pickup. So now i have to drive back waist my time my gas just i can be lied to right to my face i know what I ordered and what i was giving was not it and instead of taking responsibility they look you right in the eye and lie to you that you ordered it like that when you didn't very unprofessional and it sad i have been going there...
