La Michoacana Frutileta #2 — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

In general I wanted something sweet and I haven't eaten any desserts originally I was about to go to xurros further east on armitage and Hamlin as I did not feel like driving my cars despite being so close in the semi cold weather. I decided to try this ice cream parlor which was closer to my house. There are 2 la michocana near me but I chose this was closer and have not been here. The ice cream was ok. I ordered a banana split despite being a cold day. Ever since my parents left I haven't had any of these foods. For the banana split I only had two ice cream flavors that were not traditional out of the three. I wanted coconut pistachio and then chocolate of course it's traditional. The ice cream flavors were ok if average. No wow to the taste or texture. It's equivalent to eating at Baskin Robbins quality in taste and texture. The cashier was limited in speaking and understanding English since this ice cream parlor is caters to the Hispanic Latino community here in Hermosa. Over it was ok. Me personally would look for...

Beyond upset that I spent money here. We ordered several items thru doordash, when the order arrived, half of the items were missing. I called them and a man claimed to have sent everything, I proceeded to call the dasher who stated that a woman only gave him one bag. We called back several times and they no longer answered. After reaching doordash, they sent us the remaining items, which they messed up, fruit cup was missing watermelon and the jicama was clearly old, nachos stale…. My corn had Chile powder in it but i proceeded to eat it anyways as I’m almost done with it I found a dang hair in it!!!! I’m absolutely disgusted and I wish I would have read other reviews...

I never truly leave feed back however, this is my first time leaving a comment, I came in today to get me and the kids some elotes and other snacks, as I came in the girl whom was there was very patient with the first client, whom took a good chunk of time. As he left 2 Uber deliveries came in and she was so fast and efficient, she was so patient and kind to each and everyone of us, I truly am thankful there are people so calm and kept together on such a rushed time.
