To the bearded bartender we interacted with last night -
My friends and I (group of 6) walked into this bar for the first time and initially liked the atmosphere and were happy to snag a table at this potentially new spot we could frequent. Unfortunately, that was negated when this bartender displayed an incredibly RUDE demeanor — the complete opposite of a "warm welcoming vibe."
Only my boyfriend and I wanted to drink, so he went up to the bartender to ask for two beers. The bartender immediately responded aggressively with "I need to see all your IDs." That's fine and we understand that we need to show our IDs in a bar, but his tone was so aggressive and defensive for no reason! My boyfriend tried to show him his ID, but was once again met with very aggressive and rude wording.
My boyfriend tried to calmly defuse the situation, and the bartender continued to be extremely rude, condescending and aggressive. After the bartender dismissed him, we immediately left. This bar is right down the street from me and I have been looking forward to going here. You all lost our business. Hire better bartenders who treat guests...

I left my card at the bar for about a week, as I was out of town and also don't have a car. Nothing warrants fraud. It must have been a new person or bar back (hopefully) with access to the card-holding cashe. I generally enjoy this bar otherwise.
