Today on 10/08/23 I was craving chicken so placed an order online even though I swore I wouldn’t spend my money here. Well I should’ve listened to myself on that one. The app said 30 minutes for my order, no problem. My boyfriend went to pick it up when it said it was ready. He walked in to have the counter worker ignore him because she was beyond thirsty to busy getting another customers phone number. When she finally took the time to help my boyfriend she said my order didn’t exist… nope, she was too busy screwing around to get the notification of the order. My boyfriend had to wait an additional 30 minutes for out 8 piece mea. The excuse was they were slammed earlier so I’m assuming that meant not to make any more chicken? I told my bf to check and of course yet again they forgot the gravy 🤦♀️🙄😒 I was truly hoping since there’s a new owner things would change. Obviously not. Please please please don’t waste your time or money at this location. It’s not worth it. Listen to the true reviews of how terrible and rude the staff is. The front counter worker doesn’t care about her job, she’s lazy and ignorant and only cares about a booty call. I will say the cooks did a good job on the chicken, only the chicken. except my Cole slaw was half full and the biscuits were raw. Do these people not understand raw dough can get you very sick. Do better or just shut down! Try e new ownership is a complete joke!
Forgot my gravy and the food was horrible. Told us 40 minute wait to make us leave yet gave us our food 10 minutes later. Staff and management is horrible Tried to go again today. They told us they were out of chicken. Chicken! Yet the two cars in front of us were served… been here a total of 3 times, this time we just left, time before that we were lied to about the wait time while they hoped we left. First time was early morning and great. The lunch and dinner staff is just lazy and worthless. Won’t be back. So I drove up to the window and a lady sluggishly walked up and opened the window and I told her I had been waiting at the speaker for 5 minutes and she said that their headsets weren't working and I told her that they should put a sign on the speaker because people are on their way to work and she yelled I mean YELLED at me saying "that is not our problem!" SERIOUSLY?! What she should have said is 'I'm sorry you had to wait our headset isn't working right now what can I get you?' !!! The Bojangles on 53 in Braselton is always out of stuff and will only take one order at a time in the morning at the drive thru and fills the order before taking another. Nobody has time for that. We don't even stop there anymore. The only one worth stopping at is the one in Winder. And even it has gone downhill over the past year. And the awning at the window needs put back up at winder because you get wet getting your food. I feel sorry for the person working the window with no awning for so long, a couple years it seems. Do better! You need to implement a class on good customer service. And some kind of system for when they get complaints. Too many and your out. When you work at customer service of any type You have to go above and beyond, you cannot act the way you act on your own time. They need to learn how to be courteous and show respect. This location used to be quick and the food quality wasn't bad, but now it's gone to hell in a hand basket.
Apparently they are focusing more on the food because their Inspection Score went down, but their customer service is plummeting also. There were four (4) cars awaiting, including mine, waiting to have the order delivered to the car.
I got my Grilled Chicken Sandwich and looked at it before leaving the parking space and it was chicken and mayo only. As she was walking off, I told her that the sandwich is supposed to come with lettuce and tomato. She was slightly annoyed, but decent enough to try to make it right.
Well, as I was waiting, a young lady without a name tag or a uniform approached my window and told me that I have to order the lettuce and tomato when placing my order. I told her that I never do that. She told me that if I wanted the correct sandwich, I would need to pull around and get back in the line at the drive thru and order the correct sandwich and also pay for it! I asked her for the manager, and of course, she was "the manager." She told me that it's called a "Grilled Chicken Sandwich Deluxe."
There is no such thing on the menu. She created this item in her head. Bless her heart.
Make a long story short, I told her that I will not be doing that and that I would like a refund. I sat in my car long enough and drove off when she didn't return, as I was already late for work.
I will look forward to getting a refund, a free sandwich...
