This place is a joke. Donât believe the reviews. The most RUDE staff you will ever meet and nearly the entire town feels the same way (I have a ton of evidence to prove that and have provided as an example when asked with no comment back). Youâre treated as a huge inconvenience for giving them business. They absolutely hate any larger order and make sure you know it. They have been out of cold brew coffee 7 out of the 8 times recently Iâve tried ordering it over a span of probably 6 months. They donât reply like a nice normal human being would of âI am sorry, we are out of cold brewâ instead they look at you like you are the dumbest person on earth and rudely say (in a terrible tone I cannot portray) âwe donât have cold brewâ as if they donât offer it on the menu (which they very clearly do). If you enjoy feeling like a huge inconvenience, donât like being greeted with a smile whatsoever and want to start your day on a negative note - go here!! Seriously. What a joke. Good luck when...
Read moreThis is the best coffee you will find in Iowa! To make the experience even better, they employ one of the kindest and freindlyist baristas. Brittanie is one asset that they cannot afford to lose! She has a way about her that brings a smile to your face even on your worst day. She completes this small town's coffee house experience like no other employee can. Don't get me wrong, the other baristas can make your coffee with a friendly attitude but the experience is just not the same when Brittanie is not working. She has achieve the perfect espresso shot every time so you know when you see her working, the drinks are at their very best. I love that they roast their own beans too (the aroma fills our small town air âș. YUM!). The owners have made the shop into a cozy place to enjoy your fresh roasted and brewed cup of joe. Make this place a bucket list must! And, If you want to catch the full experience, Brittanie is usually working in the daytime...
Read moreWasn't a fan of this place. The menu board they have is just basic coffee stuff, which might be good for most of the people I'm sure! But I had hoped for more. You basically feel like you need to ask a million questions to get a good flavored coffee. They have syrups but they are not listed on the menu/board. So you would have to investigate what flavors they had by looking over at them or asking. Asking isn't terrible but the people didn't seem very friendly. We greeted them while walking in and in return we just got eyes staring, waiting for us to hurry and order. No short conversations or friendly notions. Just ignored. The tea I ordered was SO hot. The water was practically boiling. I have gone to a lot of coffee shops and had a lot of tea, even hot tea has never burned my tongue so bad. I gave it 3 stars because it is a very cool building and an adorable little spot in town but I think it needs a lot of work on the customer service and...
