Twiins Shoppe — Restaurant in Jefferson

It was busy, but one of the girls just kept slamming the window closed after giving something to the other customers. I asked if I could give my order and she rudely answered in a minute. One of the customers before had gotten something by mistake and not what they ordered, so when she asked about it the girl responded " you had seven items and that's what you got ." She then slammed the window shut again. I had asked for lids on my malts and when she handed out one without I reminded her I'd asked for lids and she grabbed it out of my hand. The other girl working brought the other one and was very nice. I've never had any issues here before and if the pressure from being so busy couldn't be handled by the one worker, maybe she shouldn't be working there. I probably wouldn't have said anything, but I wasn't the only customer...

Girls are very very unfriendly. Young man was handed ice cream cone and politely said thank you! Girl never answered nor looked up at him. I told her that young man told you thank you, she never looked up at me nor answered. What's wrong with those girls? I'm done there. I will go to Glidden. We are not appreciated at all there. They lost my family. Get better people to deal serve the public....

On a 2.5 hour trip to watch State Softball in Ft. Dodge, Twiins was a great place to stop for a snack. Our group of 4 had shakes and malts. They were all excellent and the girls working that day were polite, courteous, and very helpful. If we are in the area again, we'll stop for great tasting and reasonably priced ice...
