Hau PO — Restaurant in Jefferson

I'm not one to bash a restaurant but I can't just say nothing about my experience. I ordered cheese wontons, a small wonton soup, orange chicken combination plate, and Shrimp with lobster sauce.

They gave me crab Rangoon instead of cheese wontons which I like both but it was not as good as other places. The wonton soup somehow tasted burnt. I'm still really confused about that because it looked normal.

The orange chicken was almost black. The orange peels were burnt and so you'd assume it tasted burnt. The shrimp with lobster sauce was bland and after eating it I was immediately running to the bathroom.

I assume they used old cooking oil because that's exactly what it tastes like. I didn't finish my food. The only good thing was the white rice. I will not be ordering again. Also they had what seemed to be the grandma walking around the kitchen with their baby. Very...

Ordered general tso's and egg rolls and lo mein this evening... Tasted horrible It tasted very old and like it's been sitting around for days. I literally had to throw my food away I couldn't even finish it It was absolutely horrible.. and when you walk into the restaurant it's very dimly lit and dingy and it's very dirty in there I'm scared to ever order food from there again It is not clean at all in there.. The health department should take a look in there and see what's going on It looks very unclean and it's so dimly lit I don't even know how they can see to cook, but they're probably not even cooking our food it tasted like it was cooked in a microwave. .. also they don't even tell you that they don't take a credit card till you get there,I will never order...

I would not recommend. Food is not fresh (old, reheated) and has made us sick. I swear we have been given left overs. Old nasty white rice in with the pork fried yellow rice. Bits of chicken in pork dish. Bland, no flavor to the dishes at all. Grizzly meat, lack of meat. I could go on forever. This is the closest Chinese to us but we now choose to go to China Garden in Andover. Their food is fresh and has flavor. I have given this place too many chances and it has failed us every time. I am not a fussy eater and I do not usually leave...
