Star Doughnuts — Restaurant in Jefferson

It's an old DQ building with junk all in the seating area. I had two donuts chocolate covered and two sausage kolaches. Donuts were just okay. I've had worse and I've had better. The sausage tasted like a hot dog they got from Brookshires. Glad I didn't try the boudain it might have ruined boudain for me forever. It's about what you would expect from a small town, it won't kill you. I spent a little over $15 for two people and I must say the Yoohoo drink was outstanding! A better cheaper breakfast can be had...

The donuts are sometimes good and other times not so much. It's always hit and miss. It's the only donut store in this town. They need some competition..almost every time there is a holiday like today (Father's Day) they are sold out. I stopped by before 10am today and all they had was apple fritters left. I miss the old owners. They were 5 star. If I'm passing threw Jefferson I won't stop. Way more options and better...
