Los Cabos Little Kitchen is a exactly as the name describes, a "little kitchen" and it brings resort style Mexican (Tex-Mex) cuisine to the outlet mall.
The atmosphere of the little kitchen is fun, upbeat, and makes for a great getaway out of the Oklahoma heat while shopping. Or if its a cool day, there is a patio styled eatting area as well.
If you're looking for a quick bite to eat, this is a great convenient option but it's going to come with a price tag. It is also the only food restaurant available at the outlet mall.
In my personal opinion, I would suggest holding out and going to eat elsewhere. If you're a Los Cabos fan, you might as well just wait until you leave the outlets and head over to the Riverwalk to the full location. With that said, the only dish I order from Los Cabos on the Riverwalk is the fried avocado and the little kitchen did not have it. It was a major let down.
I understand it's a "little kitchen" and designed to only offer a taste of Los Cabos, but they should atleast have a couple of their signature items available.
The food itself is already mediocre at best. I have never been a fan of their thick cantina style chips either. Yet I know some people love them, its just not for me, and that's okay. I have always thought their food was over-priced and this location seems to be worse for what it is you're getting.
Yet, I have always enjoyed the resort style eatry, the service has always been good, and the atmosphere is always uplifting. The Little Kitchen did bring that style to the table. I feel like it would be a great place to socialize and hangout admist a fun shopping spree day. However, the prices and menu items were a bust.
Literally, some of my group choose to go elsewhere and completely left the outlet mall in the middle of our group shopping spee just because we were all hungry and even they refused to spend the money here for dishes that were offered.
I'm not saying it's the worst, but it's definitely not the best. It could be seen as capital marketing at its finest. Please try and do better. As I tell everyone, feel free to still check it out...
Read moreI placed a to-go order and was very disappointed with the overall experience. After getting home and going through my food, I realized several items were missing—only to find they were never even added to the ticket. That’s partly on me for not double-checking before I left, but the quality of what I did receive was just as frustrating.
The Baja shrimp tacos had only two small shrimp total—completely underwhelming. I ordered two sides of queso and got two tiny cups, yet somehow ended up with eight containers of salsa. The bean burrito looked like it was just thrown into the container with no care, and the steak quesadillas were greasy and looked like something slapped together last minute. For a $60 order, the quality was far below acceptable.
Honestly, I should’ve just made the drive to the main location. I won’t be ordering...
