When they first opened, I ate here all the time. But I had a bad customer service experience August of last year and I quit coming. A friend wanted to try this place again so I gave them another shot. I really regret it. This was the worst customer service of my life. I checked in online, came at my designated time, and then I waited an additional hour when I arrived. Waiting area was loud and crowded. They seated the 3 of us at a tiny table. After an hour of waiting for my food and having check with the waitress multiple times the food had not been made yet! At that point, my guy friend and I told them to cancel our food order. They offered to still make the food and comp it. But I wasn't interested because two hours of my life is not worth a $15 omelette. I just wanted to leave. But my other friend want her food so we waited for that a little bit more. 5 Minutes later, they brought her a to go container. It was the wrong food! My friend is allergic to cheese, and they brought out a cheese omelette. They still made my friends pay for their drinks!!! Those should have been comp'd. And when they came to get the credit card from my friend, they snatched it out of his hand. EEK. So stinking rude.
I hate when managers lie. The manager tried to tell us she was sorry, but they had to serve a table of 20. But we arrived before that table of 20. So that had nothing to do with us. there were lots of people who arrived after us who were eating their food. When I pointed that out, she said some foods take longer to prepare than others. I said tell me which ones so I will never order those again for the rest of my life. She stormed off.
In addition to the bad service, this place is not clean. I wrote a review a year ago about how dirty this place was. Today, I saw employees spilling water on the ground, and they didn't mop it up. Slipping hazard. There's always food underneath the tables. I know they're in a rush to turn over tables, but that's really gross. We joked that the only clean tables there were the ones with water on the floor.
This restaurant is so crowded. It has to be a fire code violation/ hazard. And because there's so many bodies push together it is too hot inside. It is so hot, The table next to us had a birthday cake out, and it was literally melting and the layers were...

Wait for individual tables was 45 minutes so we decided to sit at the community tables which had no wait! These were high top tables and spacious enough to be comfortable sitting with people you do not know!
Started with Caramel Latte & Haselnut Macciatto Latte - very subtle sweetness & creamy milk taste.
We had the loaded potato tumblers to start and that was one of our favorite things! Very sharable and big portion! My boyfriend said he could eat that for his meal and be very satisfied.
For our main meals we had the Strawberry Dream Pancakes and Monte Cristo! Pancakes were sweet and fluffy- I asked for syrup on the side to drizzle on top! Huge portion and you could add sides if you wanted more food! The Monte Cristo was the fluffiest we had ever seen! Warm, crispy and very filling. The fries were an amazing side to go with it!
Overall a really cool atmosphere and place to hang for brunch!
Round 2 update: food was amazing, but at the cost of waiting...
We waited 20mins at the community table before being waited on and we went searching for utensils on our own to be able to eat our appetizer... it looked like there were not enough servers to care for the amount of people in the restaurant. I felt bad for our waitress who was balancing the bar and a whole community table. My advice if you are sitting at the community tables would be order everything you want when you first get waited on and make your presence known so the waiters will realize you are not with a group beside you.
The loaded potato haystacks were amazing like last time and the monte cristo was crisp & savory! I tried the pick 3 Pancakes and it was so good! You get go pick 3 of the special Pancakes to try and it's in perfect serving sizes! Highly recommend if you can't decide on 1 type of pancake. The pineapple ones were...
Read moreIâm extremely disappointed with our visit to Hatch for brunch this morning. From start to finish, the experience was incredibly frustrating.
We arrived and put our names on the waitlist, which was quoted to us as a 30-minute wait. After more than an hour had passed, I decided to check in with the hostess to see where we stood, especially since we had waited twice as long as expected. To my surprise, there were two other parties in front of me asking the same thing. At this point, we noticed a "community table" had opened up, so we took the opportunity and sat down, since we still hadnât been seated.
Once we were finally seated, it took over 10 minutes for anyone to greet us. A server eventually brought us water and mentioned that our actual server would be with us shortly, but that didnât happen. Another 10 minutes passed before someone finally came by to take our drink orders, and even longer before the food order was taken. After waiting over 30 minutes for our food, three out of four dishes arrived, but one was missing. We waited 15 minutes for the fourth dish, but it never came. At this point, we had to go find someone to ask about the missing food, and were told theyâd check on it, but no one ever came back to update us. Eventually, we had to leave our table and track down our server to let her know. She went to find the dish, and another five minutes later, it finally arrived.
To top it off, the eggs on the dish were partially raw, with a clear top and not cooked throughâclearly the result of rushing the preparation. While the managers did comp the missing dish, the entire experience was disappointing. From the long wait times to the lack of communication and poorly cooked food, we wonât be returning to Hatch. It was a huge letdown and not...
