When you walk in well BEFORE six (the time they close on Sundays), and you wait in line behind a group with children that are running around the place and the adults aren't paying attention to ordering or their children, and you FINALLY get to the counter to order.... You'd think you would be allowed to order a scoop of ice cream, right? Wrong. Its 5:58 on the clock, and the young worker looks to the last two customers in line and says, "it's after six, we're closed now." Rule of thumb for workers/owner - work more efficiently to get your customer's orders in when they are in your shop before six if you HAVE to stop immediately at 5:59pm. OR rather than have customers wait in line, apologize and say "I'm sorry, we shouldn't have left our door propped wide open this close to closing time as we don't accept orders after a certain time". I would give a zero if it was available. I walked into this location prior to them closing and the family before was taking forever. The door was wide open when I came in. As I was standing there one more lady walked in through the open door. When I got to the register I was told they couldn’t serve me because it’s now 6pm when they close. The blonde blamed the owner and said they’d get in trouble if they served me after asking if they really couldn’t serve someone that was in well before closing. She said no. Sugar Llamas has been a go to for birthday breakfast for our kids. We went to our usual shop and saw they had permanently moved to the Jenks Outlet Malls. We drive out there next at 9:30 not realizing the mall doesn’t open till 10 am. We waited and when the doors opened at 10:05 am we were ready to order! The worker told us the donut machine still needed 25 minutes to warm up! Unfortunately we didn’t have time to stay that long. But how can you be a donut shop and not be ready to start preparing donuts...
