WARNING: Always check your receipts before paying and make sure you have everything that you need before you drive off. And most importantly try to watch the workers make your drinks or shakes. So last night my daughters and I went to Sonic to order some food and shakes. This particular day went horribly because our orders were messed up multiple times. We ordered a combo with a shake and 4 other shakes. My daughter repeatedly told the guy taking the order it’ll be a total of 5 shakes. He didn’t tell us our total and told us our total will be at the first window. When we got there we finally got our total but it seemed too much since I thought they still did the half priced shakes after 8 p.m so I told my daughter to ask him about that. He responded that he never heard of that and they don’t do that. I told my daughter again to let him ask his manager since I didn’t know they stopped doing that. I was relaying all this because my daughter was in the drivers seat and was closer to him. He came back and said his manager also said they don’t have that. After that my daughter looked at the receipt to make sure everything was right before we got charged because mistakes can happen and we understand that. She saw that he only included 4 total shakes in total even though he was told a total of 5 shakes. My daughter respectfully said sorry I think you missed one more shake . Told him can we get small strawberry shakes instead of medium since we didn’t say we wanted medium, he just assumed the sizes. He came back with two receipts which we thought it was weird so my daughter asked to see the receipts and sure enough it was wrong again. He left the original order intact. Didn’t change the sizes of the shakes and added one more medium shake on another receipt. She had to reiterate the order and after that it was finally correct. So i want to encourage everyone to always check your receipts before paying and also checking everything is inside the bag. While they were transferring the medium shakes to a small cup I saw a young lady taking a spoon and start eating the leftover shake from one of our cups. Now I can rightfully assume she might have used the same spoon to transfer my shakes to the small cup because she turned her back against us. She did it in front of us to see as if to provoke us. I was so baffled and the whole time the manager was not around to see what’s taking so long with our order. I hope the managers start to truly reprimand their workers and hold them to a higher standard because they work in the food industry where it is completely inappropriate to do that especially in the midst of a pandemic. After we got our shakes it was still a long wait to get our Coney Island. And we had to ask a bag because we got the coney without a bag. We just wanted to leave since there were people behind us and accepted the shakes but threw it away because I do not trust them. Read moreThis has become my main sonic. Although not the closest to me it has the best service by far. I had my first messed up order tonight where my wrap was made incorrectly. Keep in mind the way I order a crispy chicken strip wrap is plain with chili, shredded cheese, Hickory sauce and onions. So needless to say some mistakes are expected as that is far from the norm. I have ordered it this way many times from them in the past with never an issue and when ordered tonight it was correct on the screen and ticket so being complacent I neglected to check it before going home. When I called to explain my issue the person spoke with Missy/Misty(not sure she spoke fast as it WAS still middle of dinner time for them too) was very friendly and did not hesitate to replace the item. Yes it was inconvenient to drive back up there but overall I would still rate it as a positive experience considering the other sonics I've dealt with in the past and as a former sonic employee myself I tend to judge pretty harshly. This sonic has always been quick with food. It is always fresh, warm and typically correct. They also do the perfect level of sweetness for the sweet tea. Read moreA long, long time ago, I worked a job where I had to be at work at 5 a.m., to unload trucks. It took about an hour and a half to unload and then Va at 6:30 ravenous hunger set in. Sonic of course, accommodated with great zeal! Back then I don’t think they sold breakfast. But, I was able to get a hamburger which was great because I’m not a big breakfast fan. So it was always an endearing quality about Sonic in general. Today was no exception, needing some food early in the morning, as I have a hard Saturdays work ahead of me I stopped at the Sonic in Jenks. As per usual, they accommodated my request for a hamburger, cheesy tots and a Coke . I opened the hamburger and found that however they packaged it, the bread had become soaked with some sort of meat, juice or something, and was like a giant lougee on top of my hamburger. Ever trying to be adaptable, I peeled off the gooey parts put it in the bag and consumed. Hamburger met the expectations. Then I turned to the cheesy tater tots and they looked little funky, but continue to eat. They’re all it is American cheese heated up over fried potato chunks. Bite one, fine, bite two, yesterdays tater tot.
