Update: 05/23/23 So I got your attention but you still came up short delivering true customer service and making me feel welcome! Unfortunately you didn’t even apologized for your terrible service and it seems that your passive aggressive behavior got the best of you and is making you feel as the victim; you couldn’t even offer to actually mend this experience by perhaps offering me or enticing me to come over again and win me as your customer but instead you chose to keep me away! That’s fine but I can guarantee you that I won’t be the last one complaining about your terrible “al pastor” tacos. Good luck! Unfortunately my first experience was terrible; I order 24 tacos al pastor one Saturday; I’ll go pick them up and then go home and as a family we tried out and it was DISAPPOINTING the tortillas was saggy and the meat had no taste! And I have eaten lots and lots of tacos Al pastor over my entire life so I know what I am talking about! My dogs has a feast of tacos that might because we just couldn’t eat past the first two bites! I live two blocks away from this place since they opened I never tried out and I only did because my place where I get my tacos Al pastor in the heights, jersey City; was closed that day; and and I hope that if the owners read my feedback would take it as a constructive critique and would want to do better! But as right now 05/20/23 I’m just gonna get my tacos from this...

Hello I have been a customer for 5 years now. Tonight I decided to use Uber eats. My problem was on October 4th at 9pm I received an alert to let me know that my food was delivered which ot wasn't. I called the restaurant to ask the message I received. The woman on the call was rude. I was ranting about how my food shown delivered and it wasn't. She cut me off and said I will look up your name and see what's wrong. Mind you She didn't ask my name or order. I said don't you want my name, she replied you're cutting me off. I said you, you didn't ask me my name or info. She took my complete personal. Placed me on hold for 4 minutes and than disconnected the call I called back the call hung up on me I called again. The server refused to give her name or the other workers name I asked in several times. All she kept asking who I was I explaining a customer for the last 5 years. It was very frustrating to receive an alert that my food was delivered and it wasn't. I went outside my food was delivered with no notice sitting on the steps. Their food is good but their customer service is horrible! I know my complaints may not be anything because only a good owner will acknowledge what my frustration is. Let's see if they take pride in their...

Another new restaurant recently opened in the West Side Ave area of Jersey City.

Spacious restaurant especially for the area. They have at least 5 tables (one 2-seater, three 4-seaters and one 8-seater.) They have two flatscreen tv's that are set at the Univison channel.

Place looks clean.

On the menu are your typical Mexican dishes made to order, however though prepared well, what you order does not come out to what you expect them to be. See the pictured examples: The "burrito" looks more like a fajita, served with soft shell on the side rather than already wrapped with all the filling inside. Maybe it was because it was to go? Not sure why. The "quesadilla" which I am used to seeing heated and flipped on the other side to be warmed up is more like a large soft shell taco. It was a more authentic hand made quesadilla actually.

Too bad google reviews do not do half stars as this isn't enough to knock them down to 3 stars in my opinion, but nonetheless be careful what you order as it is not what I am typically used to getting from other Mexican restaurants.

Price point is just about right. You do not get a lot of food, but they do package your food nicely in good to-go containers so the food does not slosh...
