Lincoln Park — Attraction in Jersey City

The park is my favorite place to be. I go there all the time because it's just amazing. The people who take care of it do a great job, so everything looks nice and clean. I really enjoy feeling close to nature when I'm there.The park has so many nice things to see and hear. There's a pretty water fountain that makes a soothing sound. Tall trees provide shade and homes for birds. I love listening to the birds sing their happy songs. It's fun to watch kids running around and playing, too.One day, I decided to explore a bit more. I walked deeper into the park and found a special spot that felt perfect for me. It was like finding a needle in a haystack - just what I needed! If there is anyone wondering or looking for information can you go fishing in Lincoln Park lake yes you can there's plenty of fishes including largemouth bass sunfish turtles. I remember as a kid but now I'm in my 30s and no longer live in Jersey City. I used to go to the lake all the time to go fishing. I have seen a giant carp in the lake. I Have caught a small size carp before. I witness one of my friend caught a big largemouth bass . It had to be over 10 lb. If you would drive or walk to the back of the park there is a nature walk. You have to cross the bridge. You can catch crabs and all kinds of freshwater fish plus they have a boardwalk back there. I believe that's where the Hackensack River is . Believe you need a fishing license to go fishing at the park. Check your local laws. When I was a kid police used to patrol and see me fishing and never asked me for any license. I had such a great time at Lincoln Park! The morning-to-noon ambiance is just chef’s kiss — peaceful yet buzzing with life. As someone on a post-injury comeback run training, I loved people-watching while doing my own stretches. You’ve got zumba crews dancing their hearts out, couples running side by side, families strolling together, and adorable pups all on leash — no surprise jump scares here!

Parking? Plenty! Sports facilities? Everywhere! What really stood out for me is how safe and welcoming the whole environment feels — definitely the kind of place where strangers can easily turn into running buddies.

Didn’t spot any water stations this time, but I’ll be back tomorrow to check if there are any. Restrooms? Still on my to-do list — I’ll report back on that too.
