I contacted St. Aloysius Church numerous times over a period of 6 weeks on behalf of my neighbor who will be 92 very soon. She is homebound, alone and ill with a number of ailments. St. Alâs is her church and she wanted a home visit from a priest for communion, confession and the anointing of the sick (her last home visit was a year ago). No one has contacted either her or me. When I spoke to the woman who answered St. Alâs phone, she said they âare very busyâ but a priest will be contacting my friend (or me if they have problems contacting my neighbor).I explained to the woman that my neighbor is home 100% of the time. If there is no answer it means she is in the restroom or throwing out her trash in the outside hallway. I said if the line is busy, then please try again until you reach her. Again, itâs been 6 weeks and my friend is still waiting. I called again 5 days ago but still nothing. I will not waste my time begging St. Alâs to send a priest to my elderly and frail neighbor. I will now call other churches to see if they have the time and compassion to give a 92 year old homebound woman confession, communion and the anointing of the sick. I am truly dismayed with St. Alâs to whom I would ask the question, âWhat...

They took photos and as they were taking photos, the pastor was not at all friendly. Acknowledging that yes he has another session following up & thAt they were late, but his behavior was unprofessional and unholy.
When the mother of the groom went to approach the the pastor to calm the situation, the pastor stuck his finger and yelled in the mothers face.
As said, acknowledging that the bride and groom were late and another service following afterwards, His behavior and approach to the situation was uncalled for and if you plan to have youre ceremony here, i donât recommend. All weddings dont go according as planned and often have some kind of lateness. If youâre looking for a pastor who understands this & can allow some reasonable leeway, this is not the pastor for you. Especially one that believes its okay to yell and stick, wave, and point his finger in the groomâs mother.
Postive- nice interior Negative- pastor behavior,...
Read moreI am responding to Cynthia Lopez's comments. How dare you think that the Bride & Groom being late 30 minutes for their own wedding is acceptable. No it is not. Were all the invitees sitting there waiting - totally unacceptable!! . The priests are busy and have other things to do, and it seems that another ceremony or event was scheduled. You cannot keep a priest waiting for 30 minutes and think that it is OK Maybe in your culture it is acceptable to show up late but here it is NOT. The priest is a human being and if he shows signs of aggravation then by all means he has a right to be. Who do you guys think you are to show up late and expect the priest to be calm about it. It called proper planning and there is no excuse...
