The pros: it’s an old school throwback 1990s vibe, if you’re feeling nostalgic this is the Bell for you.
Yo Quiero Taco Bell!
The cons: this location is a hot mess. Placed an online order for in store pickup. Went in to find chaos. Multiple Dashers waiting for orders. Multiple customers waiting for orders. Apparently someone gave away one delivery order to the wrong driver. Then people started coming in from drive thru that had the wrong orders.
Let me point out this important fact: the staff were super nice and friendly. They just had no idea what to do. The drive thru person was trying to help at the front counter. The front counter person was trying to help on drive thru. There were 4 different people going back and forth trying to help. Then they started making the re-orders wrong.
At this point I’ve been waiting more than a half hour and they’re no where near making my order as they’re in the weeds behind all these other orders. I simply (and nicely) asked the manager to cancel and refund my order so they could deal with their other issues. Lower their workload.
Instead, she disappeared. Without comment. Almost 10 minutes later, she reappeared with my order. So now I feel bad because I did not want to jump in front of all those other people, two of which in the interim have also said they want refunds. Just nobody wants to be a captive prisoner at Taco Bell.
Look, if someone has an hour for lunch at work, and they drive 10 min to Taco Bell (and presumably need to drive 10 min back), what’s the point in giving them their order 35 or 40 minutes late? There’s no time to eat the food.
The weirdest part is just walking away without saying anything. Like “I’ll make your order now”. She may have had good intentions but … why? When the customer clearly and nicely said “please just cancel”. Is there some sort of internal policy where the people get in trouble for canceling and refunding an order? It’s weird.
Again, super nice or at least neutral staff. I don’t think any of them deserve blame, they were all trying to help but it was a failure of training and leadership. There needs to be someone in charge to pull everyone out of the weeds, slow down, and get everyone in position to do their role and get back on track.
So: visit for the decor, but probably eat somewhere else unless you have...
Read moreThis location used to be more efficient, but they've been really bad as of lately. I put a mobile order on the Taco Bell app, and I get to the drive thru a few minutes later. The guy on the speaker tells me to pull up to the window. I get to the window and he asks me to pull into the front of the store, saying he'll bring out my food in a minute.
(I know some drive thru places do this when the place is busy to save time, but I was the only person in the drive thru line when I got to the window)
Over 30 minutes pass by, and I see about 3 cars drive away at that point. I walk inside, but all the doors wouldn't open??? Someone else is there trying to pick up food for Doordash/Grubhub or something, and we both can't get it. A customer opens the door, I let the guy in front of me go first since he's on a time crunch. The app told him the food was ready for pick-up, but he gets there, and they just start making the food. I ask where my food was, and tell them that I've been waiting for over 30 minutes at this point. One of the older women in the back looks at me, asks for my receipt, and after reading it says that it should've come up by now. She apologized for the wait, and restarts my order
Then they guy from the drive came around to the front as the other woman was remaking my order, and takes a box from the shelf, and hands it to me... it was sitting there for half a hour... He just looks me over and says "Bye have a nice day" and the older woman in the back that restarted my order looked pretty...
Read moreTaco Bell is my go-to spot for comfort food. My favorite things to order is anything nacho-related, so the bellgrande, nachos & cheese sides, etc. I also love their cheesy gordita crunch and steak quesadilla. My least favorites are the desserts, as they often leave a weird aftertaste- no matter which one you pick. As for salsas, I'm a mild girl, as I don't like anything too spicy. The other kind of sauces they have are hot, fire, & diablo (and at one point they had 'Verde' which is a green spicy sauce).
The dining area offers a lot of seating, including booths and chairs by the window. My preferred spot is to look outside and watch cars drive away from the drive-thru while I eat. The customer service is decent, which is better than saying it was horrible. If anything, I think the customers are the ones that are ruder than the staff.
I've ordered from this place often through Doordash, and they've never gotten my meal wrong. They'll even throw in multiple sauce packets without you requesting them, which is nice since I tend to forget to add that to my order.
But Taco Bell is a safe choice for people who want to munch on latin-inspired food for a...
