This was by far one of the most racist establishment and the worst experience we have ever had! My partner and I and a couple of our friends wanted to have a nice dinner at a buffet before we had to come home from our trip. We walked in and they asked how many only looking at me and then we got sat in an area with families that had spanish or African Americans but when we looked at the other side of the room it was only white families. Then after that we got our drinks and went up to the buffet and where we were followed around the entire time, when we were only on our first plate we noticed the waiter starring at us from across the room he walked over and proceeded to plop the check down on the table and walked away and never refilled our drinks but once. We also asked if we could split the bill into 2 separate checks, he said no. We got back up to get desserts and mind you my friend is pregnant and its a buffet I didn't know there was a one plate per person maximum for a buffet... he caught an attitude and never refilled our cups after the first time and came back over to the table after I put my card down so I can pay the bill, which was $100, at the front he rushed over to the table and grabbed the bill and my card off the table and put the receipt up to my friends face saying "how much you tip?" then when my friend said it was my card he came around the table and shoved it now into my face with a pen pointing at the tip choices and with how close that man had that receipt to my face it almost touched my nose like he thought I was blind or something! He told me I couldnt tip anything under the 12%-18% tip before I can even pay the bill... usually I would write down the tip after I paid my bill leave he wouldnt let me pay the bill until I chose how much of a tip and he said I couldn't tip under $12.10 because anything under that amount isn't the suggested tip so its not allowed! I didnt know it was a requirement to tip anyone for doing any services but it was extremely uncomfortable when he shoved my check into my face demanding a tip before he would take my card watching and following us around the entire time, couldnt even be bothered to buss our table or fill our drinks... I will absolutely never return to this buffet with the amount of blatant disrespect and racism that we underwent at a buffet is insane, I paid $100 for us to sit down to have dinner just for us to he watched, followed around, rushed which we were only there for only 30 minutes and to be segregated and not being able to enjoy our food is completely ridiculous and uncalled for and a lot of the food was mixed into each other or was almost all cold. And not to mention it was not busy at all and for them to be acting like that is crazy to me! I TRULY HOPE THIS PLACE GETS SHUT DOWN! I wanted my money back or at least to speak to someone about how we were all being treated but no one would listen and I tried to visit the website to but its not even set up with contact information to get ahold of anyone so I guess they dont give af who they hire or how they treat their customers đ¤ˇđťââď¸ maybe they'll start caring when the restaurant closes or they get sued for the amount of food poisoning they give people for unsafe food temperatures and cross contamination or for being racist and...
Read moreVery delicious food with a variety of things. There are all kinds of fish, all kinds of chicken (fried, sweet, crispy), meat, seafood, salads, sushi, shrimp pasta, fruits, desserts, etc. And it's pretty cheap, when you go during lunch time on Saturday it's $11.99 per person without tax and drinks. We spent $64.76 with 3 drinks (unlimited, free refill), 1 child, 4 adults and tax included. Although, the person that was serving us was particularly looking at our table, eyeballing us, came to pick up the plates 1 second after we finished the food in it, it was really uncomfortable being watched while we were eating. When we were about finished eating ice cream and talking they brought the receipt and asked if we wanted to pay and we said we will in 10 minutes. They came back again after 3-5 minutes asking again, and we said the same thing, and they came back again, and we said we will pay ourselves when going out and they looked sad as if they were upset that they weren't going to get tipped personally (maybe because a lot of food industry workers are underpaid) but we did when we were going. I'm saying 'they' because I do not want to reveal if it is a woman or man, so no one gets punished or anything if they even read this review đ. And it's not like we were taking up space for other customers since there were many other free seats, and it had only been 1 hour and 30 minutes which isn't a lot since we are allowed to stay for 2 hours. But I think this is very common in buffets or Chinese buffets because I have went to several chinese buffets before and the same thing has happened. Additionally, if you come during lunch time (before 3:30 P.M.) and stay until dinner (after 3:30 P.M), you can't eat the uncooked crabs, carabineros, shrimps and maybe other foods that I didn't notice, and they put a sign that says it is only for dinner customers. It's because we are paying the amount for lunch time not dinner, never experienced this in other buffets. We got some of the shrimps and carabineros because we were willing to pay dinner price and the person that knew we came during lunch time clearly saw us but our total wasn't altered. There are like 6 variety of packaged ice creams to pick from and $0.75 each if you want to bring outside with you which is really cheap. I liked the long cushioned, joined seating area near the cashier so people who arent paying, sorting out something, or they are waiting can sit. But overall the variety of foods were really delicious and very cheap and our experience wasn't bad, it probably sounded like it by my...
Read moreThis place was an absolute disaster from start to finish. Iâm only giving one star because I have to in order to leave a review, but truthfully, it doesnât even deserve that. Letâs start with the foodâit was inedible. The pork ribs were raw, the coconut shrimp was undercooked, and the pizza was doughy. Even the chicken nuggets didnât taste like chicken. Nothing felt safe or appetizing. As if the food wasnât bad enough, the service was even worse. While I was waiting in line near the soup area, one of the staff members started yelling at a child in another language. When the child moved, I attempted to pass through, but she suddenly turned her attention to me and began shouting in the same language. Everyone around looked shocked, some even laugh and I couldnât help but feel humiliated. I told my husband how disrespectful it was, and she glared at me with so much hostility. Then she circled around and came behind me still yelling, but this time including âmove, moveâ in English. We figured that would be the end of it, but it just kept getting worse. The server (according to the check, âserver #9â ) brought our check without asking, while we were still trying to eat the few things that were tolerable. Then she kept hovering around our table, pacing nearby every few minutes and making us extremely uncomfortable. When we finally decided to pay, she brought the receipt for us to sign. But was all over my husband âexplainingâ where to sign his name and where to put the tips. He literally had to place it on his legs just to get a bit of space. But she stood right next to my husband while he was signing the receipt. It didnât stop there. She then told me we didnât check off a tip amount. I calmly told her that tips are optional, but she kept pushing, even asking my husband if he couldnât just leave $3 or $5. When he said no, she started ranting in her language and slamming plates down loudly on the table. It was aggressive and completely unprofessional. As we were getting ready to leave, I told my husband to consider taking a picture of the receipt since we left it blank. She stopped her behavior to see what we were going to do, but once she realized we werenât going to tip, she dropped the fake politeness and went back to being hostile. Save yourself the money, time, and frustration. There are so many better places to eat where youâll be treated with basic respect and actually get...
