Flour or corn. Flour is Harina(ah-ree-nah) in Spanish or Maíz (ma-is). If you want crispy CRISPY get Maíz. Flour can’t get crispy due to being softer. If you prefer them crispy, tell them “tostadita” (toss-ta-dee-ta). The service is excellent. The food tastes amazing, there’s a lot of flavor on the meat. If you get Quesabirrias they’re gonna have melted white cheese inside of them. I highly recommend trying those. There’s plenty of room to park around, but if you decide to eat there on the spot be ready for some minor inconvenience on the noise. I went to Birria Express today on my break I ordered 3 corn quesabirrias extra crispy I always ask for extra crispy because every place cooks theirs different, I don’t want to assume because these could be homemade but these look like flour to me and they were not crispy at all. The birria meat is flavorful and the Horchata was Amazing !!! Wish they would have recommended I get a bigger size because it was so good! Food is very delicious. This is a food truck but they have out door picnik tables to sit. I got the Birria Taco Plate with rice and beans for 11.99 VERY filling and auper yummy! I put the red sauce on my rice and the green sauce on my meat with lime and cilantro. 5 stars. Food took a while to make bc there were lots of people in line when I got there and it was HOT as balls outside but it was SO WORTH it!! Today is Friday July 5, 2024!
